News the local
Dear Readers Another bumper month jam packed with excellent local businesses for you to choose from. Lots of local events too for your enjoyment including the West Malling Christmas Light switch on which takes place on Sunday 27th November. The day starts with the Farmer’s Market and other stalls carrying on throughout the day with children’s activities, a band and the choir. Father Christmas will be flying in at around 5pm to turn on the lights and say hello to all the good little children! He will be taking last minute orders for Christmas Day and then flying off to his next destination. A number of shops will be open on Sundays in the lead up to Christmas including Abbey Arcade, Bijoux Marianne and the newly renamed and relocated Chocolate Umbrella. We are running our front page competition again this year so please do send in your beautiful Christmas drawings or paintings and the best one will be chosen for our Christmas front cover. The closing date for entries is the 20th of November so get your pens and pencils at the ready. Remember, you can see an up to date copy of the local Oracle on line. www.thelocaloracle.co.uk Anna & Jane
