Being cousins and the daughters of two sisters, we have been through a fair amount over the past 20 years together.

We moved into a lovely office in Churchill Square after 10 years of being in business and then out again when covid hit the world and never moved back. We lost out grandmother at the amazing age of 101 and Anna lost her beautiful mum to dementia. A family friend, Andy Jones who sadly past away during this time, designed our first edition and the logo we still use today. Anna’s brother printed for us in the early days and as we grew we moved to Scarbutts, a local printer, who have looked after us since. We’ve had brilliant people deliver for us over the 20 years and every other member of our family have done their stint too! We’ve had some great business months and some bad ones too when we really weren’t sure we would stay in business but somehow, we pulled through.

We’ve been exceptionally lucky with advertisers and had less than 10 compaints in 20 years. We had editions in Paddock Wood/Tonbridge, Maidstone/Barming, Sovereign Harbour, Sevenoaks and Ashford. For one reason or another, we are now just focussing our efforts on the Malling area which has expanded from 2,000 to 19,000 over the years and continues to be successful (see our testimonials p4&5). The areas are Addington, Aylesford, Birling, Ditton, East Malling, Holborough, Kings Hill, Larkfield, Leybourne, Leybourne Chase, Leybourne Lakes, Mereworth, Offham, Ryarsh, Snodland, Wateringbury and West Malling.

We’d like to thank you our readers, advertisers, distributors and printers. We’ll be in our late 70’s if we make it another 20 years!
