







False bomb threats close multiple facilities in PG and Vanderhoof

Prince George and Vanderhoof RCMP were busy shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, as they investigated multiple bomb threats to facilities in each community.
The first call was received at the University Hospital of Northern B.C., with subsequent phone calls being received at assisted living facilities, one each in Prince George and Vanderhoof.
“Relevant protocols were enacted at the three locations while police officers conducted searches throughout the buildings. In conjunction with other investigational factors, we have determined the bomb threats to be both false and related to one another,” states Corporal Jen-
nifer Cooper, Meida Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
It is believed there are no ongoing threats to public safety. These investigations remain ongoing.
