Police catch robbery suspect within blocks of incident

September 16, 2025 - Prince George,

British Columbia

On September 15, 2025, just a few minutes past midnight, Prince George RCMP was advised that a convenience store on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Ospika Boulevard had just been robbed by a single suspect.

“Frontline police officers flooded the area and located the suspect several blocks away. Police officers were provided with screenshots of the available video surveillance from the store within minutes of the offence occurring, which greatly increased their ability to locate and arrest the suspect,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for

the Prince George RCMP.

The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old, Prince George resident, Haley Elizabeth Lindstrom.

The following charges have been approved in this matter:

Robbery

Uttering threats

Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Ms. Lindstrom was held in custody until she could attend court.

As this file is now before the courts there will be no further updates.

In partnership with Shred-it Mobile Shredding Services, Mr. Mike’s, PGSS and School District 57, Northern BC Crime Stoppers will be providing an opportunity for you to responsibly, safely and quickly shred your personal and important documents. This service is provided for the cost of a donation (minimum $10 per bag or box) and is not meant for business owners.)
