BC Highway Patrol, 2024-07-30
My husband and I wanted to send in our utmost praise and thanks. Sergeant Smith, of the Fraser South Zone with BC Highway Patrol, went over and above.
Back in June, we blew a tire just around a corner on Hwy 3 past Manning Lodge. Traffic was barreling around the corner as we tried to get our spare tire out from under-
neath, let alone get it on. Sgt. Smith drove by and saw us. He turned around and parked a ways behind us, diverting traffic. He also called around to try and find a tire service that would come help us but Nobody would. My husband and I got the spare on and there was not much air in it, so Sgt. Smith followed us back to Manning Lodge. Once there we were at a safe location and able to call for help. We truly believe that without Sgt. Smith's help, we would have lost our truck/camper that day on that corner with traffic whipping by far above the speed limit.
Thank you is never enough in these situations. Sgt. Smith was our angel in disguise that day.
Thank you, Sgt. Smith!
