Prince George RCMP is looking to the public for any information that may help identify the suspect(s) who caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage at the Prince George Municipal Cemetery.
The investigation began in the morning of June 23, 2025 when staff at the cemetery reported to police that approximately 20 headstones had been knocked over during the night. Estimates put the amount of the damage between $20,000-$25,000.
If you have any information about this or any other criminal offence, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561 -3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (En glish only). You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
Unfortunately, there is no surveillance in the cemetery grounds to provide us with insight into who the suspect is or are. Investigators are asking that anyone who has information on who may have caused this damage to please come forward with the details, states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
