January 15, 2026 - City of Prince George, British Columbia
From: Prince George RCMP
Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has made an arrest in the 2024 investigation into a fentanyl-related overdose that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old youth.
The investigation began when frontline police officers were called to a home in the College Heights area for a report of a youth victim who had been located there unconscious. The youth, who later died in hospital, was found to have high levels of fentanyl in their blood.

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved one
charge of manslaughter in relation to this investigation and on January 13, 2026, police officers arrested a 17-year-old youth on an arrest warrant. The youth was taken to court later that same morning and was subsequently released on conditions.
“This is a tragedy, and our thoughts continue to be with the deceased’s family. We also recognize that this event has had a larger impact on the community including the accused and their family. Prince George RCMP is committed to making every effort to ensure that our youth are safe; to that end, we are pleased that this matter will be addressed by the court. We also want to encourage parents, guardians and teachers to continue having hard conversations with youth about un-prescribed drug use and its inherent dangers,” states Staff Sergeant Whitehouse, Plainclothes Commander for Prince George RCMP.
This investigation is now before the courts. No further updates will be made.

TAURUS (Apr. 21-May 20)
There is a strong focus right now on where you need to be heading in the future as some things go through their final winding up process to late April. For some, it may be time to make your health a more important priority instead of drifting along and thinking one day. Get in touch with people you have not contacted in a while

LEO (July 23-August 22)
This is the time to get on with tidying up the loose ends so that you are ready to get on with the year. You will feel a lot happier if you move through this bit by bit. Some will become more focussed on health and getting back to regular exercise if this has slipped. Altering what have been usual routines for the better should be worthwhile.

SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)
There is a lot to think about and perhaps communicate about at the moment when it comes to what you want to grow and develop in the long term. For some, this could be related to study. For others, it might be agreements that could be entered into, though you need to be on top of the details. A person who is quite independent could be of help.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)
The best thing right now is to find quiet time to yourself so that you can think over what has been and where you would like to head. If what you need to manage on a regular basis has grown out of hand since June, it may now be wise to work out ways of scaling this down. Focussing on your health is important to late June.

(May 21-June 20)

You cannot ignore the expectations of others right now. This will begin to ease bit by bit from next week. It might make you realise that certain obligations you have had to accept since 2023 need to be altered to fit in with changes you either sense or know you want to make. Being able to enjoy yourself will feel important right now.
VIRGO (August 23-Sept.22)
Take advantage of any opportunities that now exist to relax and enjoy yourself. This could include being part of a group or catching up with friends. Being determined to do more of this than you normally have in the future isn’t such a bad thing otherwise you could find the expectations of others could take up all your time.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21)

This is an excellent time for you to take stock of your personal finances which in many cases might mean paying greater attention to your spending habits, which could actually become a priority! Someone else can either be a help or a hindrance depending on their own financial habits of either spending a lot or taking a practical approach.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is an excellent time to focus on what needs to be your important priorities. This needs to include enjoying yourself, whether it is social or perhaps taking up a hobby or activity, until at least late June that leans more towards your sensing or artistic abilities. There can be some last minute pressures coming from others to mid February.
(June 21-July 22)
There will be a lot of activity with others, which can be most enjoyable. However, when it comes to obligations you might accept in the future there needs to be some serious thought or caution as your general commitments can increase this year. You will need to ensure you establish a foundation of leaving some time to yourself.

Your determination to put things in place in a manner that suits you, which will probably include greater practicality might surprise even you. This could be as a result of what you have had to handle on a regular basis since 2023 as well as the unpredictable expectations of others, which need or should change by late April.

22-Jan.19)
With 4 personal planets in your sign right now, you are blessed with the opportunity to take a good look at where you stand now, what is important and where you want to take yourself in life. Someone else may encourage you but they may also expect too much of you for themselves. You need to work out whatisbestforyouandgothatway.

(March 21-April 20)

You need to focus on your commitments at the moment and any other ones you might be expected to take on. There can be a lot building up when it comes to family. You might be feeling guilty about anything you have let slide when it comes to things that need to be done around the home. Try and find a balance here.
