Micah Simmons Micah Simmons (a.k.a. MICAHtheARTIST) relies on color to relate form and feeling. His story involves a lengthy and sometimes daunting path to sight as a result of three corneal transplants. The colors and loose command of flow, coupled with the influence music has in his creative process, are testament to his journey. When he is painting for an audience, he absorbs their energy, which becomes as much a part of the work as the paint and the canvas.
