With a few small changes made by homeowners Beverly & Larry Glickman, this Long Beach backyard took on an island-breezey look and carefree-vibe. “It’s our summertime oasis,” remarked Larry.

“We chose vibrant colors on the many pillows, fabrics, and rug to create a happy and festive feel. In the height of summer, we have planters overflowing with colorful flowers. It’s a fun and inviting space. We’ve hosted more gatherings here than I can count… this year will be more of the same,” stated Larry.

“Spray paint can work wonders on most outdoor furniture - wood, metal, and even plastic,” said Larry. “Our redwood picnic table was looking old and faded. We sprayed it candyapple red for a pop of color. It was an instant upgrade - not only for the table - it improved the entire space. Don't hesitate to re-purpose things - create a fun environment! Mix up some cocktails, fire up the music and chill!"
