Dear Dr. Mil,

The other day my humans took me to the beach at Corneille Estates in Fire Island. As usual, I had a blast chasing balls, frolicking in the ocean, and stealing treats from open beach bags. Everyone had plenty to drink, but I was left high and dry. SOS!

Dear Thirsty,

I’ll post an article on FaceBark about proper hydration for dogs at the beach and update humans about the importance of using sunscreen specifically designed for us dogs, especially on the oh-so-fair breeds with light skin or white fur or hair. Zinc and PABA are toxic to canines when ingested and therefore a no-no since most of us dogs are lickers. Thanks fur the heads up.
