2Glasgow boy James McAvoy makes a homecoming visit to perform at the Theatre Royal in Cyrano De Bergerac. Dubbed ‘Hamilton for Europeans’, the production features this loser-in-love but winner-at-words slamming his opponents in rap battles as he attempts to woo the true object of his lyrical desire through the auspices of another.

3Wolf Alice enjoyed three sell-out dates at Barrowlands in mid-February. This image was taken while Storm Dudley was battering Glasgow outside, but for a couple of hours fans only cared for the tornado of tunes cascading from the stage as the 2018 Mercury winners whipped up a gig to remember.
