Dear readers, Thank you.

The Roar’s 30th year is a testament to its readership as much as its staff.

We thank you for always demanding the best and being quick to inform us of even the most minute errors. Thank you for caring when we place among the top 10 high school newspapers in the nation. And more than anything, thank you for reading. You give our task a purpose.

As our time on The Roar South will continue to be the kind of school that allows a print publication to thrive.

We are forever indebted to The Roar for inspiring us to use our voices and promote positive change. From the Boston bombings to the charges against the history curriculum, this volume has forced us to become deeper thinkers and better writers. impossible hammer brainstorm sessions, and ordering more Chipotle than is healthy, but we are comforted knowing that these things will live on without us.

The community of students that organizes around The Roar is truly excellent, and we know they will continue this legacy in years to come. Here’s to 30 more.
