I have always been a ‘loud engine’ kind of guy. My favorite truck is a 5.9 24 valve Cummins. My first toy I purchased as an adult was a Harley Davidson. i sold Mopar products for years, touting the raw power and perhaps even uncomfortable torque of the SRT8 Engines. “NO WAY will I drive an electric car”, I’ve said for years. Even if I could be convinced to buy electric, everyone has a Tesla...I’d want something different. And yet, here we are. So why did we buy a Tesla?

Tom Coughlin Jay Fund - Founded in 1996 by Tom here in Jacksonville. In 1991, Jay McGillis #31, was a player of Tom’s at Boston College who was diagnosed with Leukemia; he later passed away in 1992. When Jay was diagnosed, Coach Coughlin witnessed his extraordinary strength and profound challenges faced by his family. After his passing, Tom and his wife Judy vowed to honor his legacy by supporting families facing childhood cancer so families would never have to tackle childhood cancer alone- a promise that became the
Tom Coughlin Jay Fund
2025 - $5,063,634 Total Assistance for 826 Families Over the 31 years the organization has provided $39+ million in support to over 6,700 families. No family is ever turned away (live in N E Florida/Southern GA or NY/ NJ).
Jay Fund provides financial support with items such as mortgage and rent payments, food, utility payments, transportation costs to & from treatments and MOR E.
97% of Families Say the Jay Fund Helped Them Feel Less alone Jay Fund doesn’t stop with financial support. The organization has a keen eye for offering emotional support. This includes emotional support for patient, parents and siblings. The organization provides therapeutic care and connection to child psychology providers, events and programs that restore a sense of normalcy (through parties, caregiver retreats and outings, camp for patients with nurse support and then camp later in the summer for siblings, etc)
This is Luci, my NY based shoe designer. She is 10. She’s was diagnosed in 2022; she has had multiple relapses and recently had a stem cell transplant. This was a meeting that we had to meet and go over her design which highlights symbols of love and hope!
How Can You Help? As a physician, I have come to believe that healing is about far more than medicine alone. Healing is found in the people who show up — in community, compassion, presence, and the unwavering support that carries families through the unimaginable. The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation lives that mission every single day. The Jay Fund helps families tackling childhood cancer by providing comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support. From diagnosis to recovery and beyond, they become part of the team, allowing parents to focus solely on their child’s wellbeing. Their mission is simple yet profound: to B E TH E R E for parents facing the unthinkable so they can B E TH E R E for their families. I have witnessed the Jay Fund’s mission come to life in countless meaningful ways — through moments of joy and normalcy created for children in the midst of treatment, compassionate support offered to overwhelmed parents, practical assistance for families facing financial hardship, unforgettable camp experiences that allow kids to simply be kids again, and vital hospital staff positions made possible through Jay Fund support. I have also seen the organization continue to surround families That is why I’ve chosen to run my first marathon in support of the Jay

and families the same way the Jay Fund does — with heart, hope, and steadfast support when it matters most. I hope you will consider donating to help this incredible organization continue its mission. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that no family faces childhood cancer alone.
This is an idea of what the money is used for:
• $1000 – provides transportation to and from appointments for one month • $500 – supplies groceries for a family for two weeks • $250 – keep a family’s lights on for one month • $100 – covers an internet bill so families can stay connected with their support system • $50 – provides a meal for a family staying at the hospital • $31 – Jay McGillis’s jersey number was #31. Your donation of $31 honors his legacy This is Kalani. She is my Jacksonville-based designer. I will be wearing one of each shoe while running the Marathon. Mike Reynolds of M7 Designs
If anybody sees me running in the neighborhood, say hello!
(paints NFL cleats for my cause my cleats) will be spraying the shoe designs as an in-kind donation.
Every little bit adds up! If a company would support me for $1000 or more, I’m willing to mention them on any of my TV or podcast appearances and will wear their logo on my gear. My minimum goal to be able to run is $7500, but I’m hoping to bring in more than that. All donations are tax deductible and go directly to the organization and not to me. The cost of food has skyrocketed, gas is up, more families have moved into the area with more children and as such, the number of new diagnoses in this area has increased.

BOMB
Ingredients 1.5 oz. Crown Royal Apple 3 oz. pineapple juice 1 oz. cranberry juice
History of Crown Royal Crown Royal was created in 1939 by Samuel Bronfman of Seagram to honor the historic royal tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He tested more than 600 blends before choosing an ultra-smooth mix of roughly 50 distinct whiskies. The final whisky was placed in a cut-glass decanter and put inside a regal purple velvet bag with gold stitching. The whisky stayed exclusive to Canada for its first two decades & expanded to the United States in the 60s.
Serving Combine Crown Royal, pineapple juice, and cranberry in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
