Swimming Pool Rules Please shower before entering the Swimming Pool; water hygiene is paramount. Mobile phones or electrical devices are not permitted in this area. No food or drink to be consumed in this area, except non-glass / shatterproof water bottles. No glass, ceramic or similar objects permitted in the Swimming Pool and surrounding areas. Age restrictions apply for children; please refer to the additional signage in the area. No diving, bombing or back-flips are permitted. No small balls or objects permitted to be used. Do not use the pool if you have had a heavy meal within the last hour and a a half. Do not use the pool if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Do not use the pool if you have any open cuts, skin infections or open sores. Only waterproof swimming nappies are permitted in the pool. These can be purchased at Lockside reception. No goggles that cover the nose are permitted. No snorkels or flippers are permitted. Non-swimmers should not go beyond the 1.2m depth flags.


Pool Hall Rules No mobile phones or electrical devices are permitted in the Pool Hall. Blue over shoes must be worn when spectating. All children below 8 years must be supervised by an adult in the water. Maximum of 2 children per adult. All children below the age of 13 years must be supervised by an adult in the pool hall. Maximum of 3 children per adult. No food or drink to be consumed in this area, except non-glass / shatterproofwater bottles. Pool Definitions Lane Swimming

Slow, medium and fast lanes for those wanting to swim lengths, for 13+ years. Swimmers must be able to swim consistently and display lane etiquette to fellow swimmers.

Adult-only Lane Swimming

Slow, medium and fast lanes for those wanting to just swim lengths, for 16+ years.

Aqua

Aquadynamics utilises the water’s resistance to tone, strengthen and improve cardiovascular conditioning while reducing stress impact on joints, bones and muscles. During Aqua classes, one lane is available for lane swimming only for 13+ years. Limited usage of learner pool; maximum of 2 families at any time.

Swim Lesson

Half Pool

Only half of the learner pool is available, the other half is for swim lessons.

General Swim

Adults and children can swim lengths or simply enjoy splashing around in the pool.


Child Supervision Policies Please read about the child supervision rules when using The Lensbury pool.

UNDER 8 YEARS All children below 8 years must be supervised by an adult in the water. Maximum of 2 children per adult.

UNDER 13 YEARS All children below the age of 13 years must be supervised by an adult in the pool hall. Maximum of 3 children per adult.
