Avoid electric heaters.
They cost a lot to run. For perspective, one hour of ewlectric heating is equivalent to Six or seven of gas power. Stock up on blankets and wrap up before switching on the heating. Use your thermostat and set the temperature to eighteen degrees - don’t leave heating on all of the time. Turn radiators off in any unused rooms.
How often do you make a hot drink?
(Jo asks us to consider safety first!) Invest in a hot water urn or large thermos flask. Effectively and quickly reduce your bill by using your kettle less.
