SharicaStewart,amotherofachildonthespectrum,embarkedon ajourneyoflearningandadvocacyfollowingherson’sautism diagnosis.Priortoherson’sdiagnosis,shehadlittleknowledge aboutthesubject.However,throughtrialanderror,shegained valuableinsightsintoautismandtheavailableresources.
InJanuaryof2020,hersonwasdiagnosedwithautismspectrum disorderlevel3attheageof3,beingcompletelynon-verbal. Determinedtosupportherson,Sharicaensuredhereceived speech,occupational,andphysicaltherapyatFullPotentialChild DevelopmentCenter.
Motivatedbyherson’sdiagnosis,shecreatedaFacebookpage called“CJAutismJourney”tosharetheirexperiencesandprovide resourcestoothers.Asshesharedherson’sgrowthandmilestones, sheattractedacommunityofindividualsfacingsimilarchallenges.
Remarkably,attheageof5,hersonbeganreachingmilestonesthat seemedimprobable,suchasspeaking,countingto100,andsinging hisABCsindifferentlanguages.
Sharicafoundherpurposeinempoweringparentslikeherselfto becomeeffectiveadvocatesfortheirchildren.Sherecognizedthe needforasupportivecommunityofparentsfacingsimilar challengesandfoundedAllThingsAutismFoundation.This organizationaimstoadvocatethrougheducationandsupport, providingaplatformforparentstoconnectandempowereach other.
Sharica'smessageemphasizestheimportanceofeducationand understandingwhenitcomestoautism.Sheencourages everyonetoeducatethemselves,stating,"Peoplefearwhatthey don’tknow,andtheydon’tlikewhattheycan’tunderstand."In solidaritywithhersonandallparentsofchildrenwithautism, Sharicaconcludeswithamessageofsupportandadmiration.

LatashaCrump,awomancharacterizedbyloyalty,astonishingspirit, tenacity,angelicpresence,sassydemeanor,hardworkingethic,and amicablenature,enteredtheworldonFebruary6,1977,inCrystal Springs,MS.
Sheheldthepositionofthesecondoldestamonghermother'sfour childrenandthethirdoldestamongherfather'snine.Latasha's educationaljourneyledhertoClintonHighSchoolinClinton,MS,where shecompletedherstudiesbeforeobtaininghercosmetologylicense fromMagnoliaCollegeofCosmetologyinJackson,MS.
BlessedwithasonnamedDexter,Latashaexudedabeautifulsoulthat shonebothinwardlyandoutwardly.Herinnatepurityofheartfueled herselflessactsofgivingandassistingothersinanycapacitypossible. Independent,aproprietorofmultiplebusinesses,anddrivenbyher goals,Latashafoundsolaceintendingtoherflowerbeds,caringforher dogs,andcherishingmomentswithfamilyoutsideofherprofessional pursuits.
Despitefacingadversities, includinganabusivemarriage thatsheconcealed,Latasha remainedsteadfastinpursuing heraspirationsandattaining success.However,onJuly19, 2023,herfamilyreportedher disappearancewhenattempts toreachherwentunanswered.
Subsequentinvestigations uncoveredatroublinghistory ofharassmentandstalking perpetratedbyherestranged husband,leadingtohisarrest forviolatingaprotectionorder.
Despitecompellingevidence implicatinghiminher disappearance,theJackson PoliceDepartmentcited insufficientproof,leaving Latasha'slovedones devastatedanddisillusioned bytheshortcomingsofthe justicesystem.
AsthesearchforLatasha persists,herfamilyimploresfor assistanceinlocatingher, advocatingforheightened awarenessofdomestic violenceandencouraging individualstospeakout againstsuchinjustices.

Whilenotinitiallyplanningtopursueacareerasanartist,C. Lindsey’spassionforthegenrewasignitedathisfirstblues festivalin2013.Growingupsurroundedbythemusicand spendingtimeinbootleghousesandpartyvenueswith olderindividualsgreatlyinfluencedhismusicaljourney.
Hisfirstsong,createdona whimwithoutserious intentions,receivedpositive feedbackuponitsrelease, promptingC.Lindseyto continuepursuingmusic. Shethoughtthiswas normalbehaviorandt shewasa“strong” womanforbeingable copewithlife.Asshe startedworkingona healedversionofherself, sherealizedthatwhatshe wastaughtasearlyasa childwasnotnormal.She learnedthatsuppressing feelingscouldturninto anger,bitterness,feeling complacent,feelinglost, andrepeatingthecycle ofdealingwiththesame typeofpeople.
