2 0 2 6 GOLF SCHEDULE

Another incredible year is in the books for the Golf Department, and we want to thank all of our members for being a part of it. Member participation reached record highs in 2025, and that enthusiasm has helped us continue to raise the standard for our events.
This year ’ s tournament booklet includes more detailed information than ever before to help everyone stay informed and prepared. As always, our event sign-ups are filling faster each season so be sure to mark your calendars and register early once the sign-up window opens.
As we head into the 2026 season, we’ll be placing a stronger emphasis on handicap accuracy and fairness. Please ensure your GHIN account is active and that all scores are posted in a timely manner. We’ll be introducing several new measures including score posting requirements, monthly score reviews, and rules enforcement to help maintain the integrity and fairness of competition for all players.
You’ll also find updates and clarifications to several club policies throughout this booklet. The Ledges is a special place, and we appreciate everyone ’ s commitment to following these guidelines so that both members and guests enjoy the best possible experience on and off the course.
We also want to highlight a few of this past year ’ s memorable moments. Our first-ever Parent-Child Championship was a huge success and will continue to grow into one of our most anticipated events. The Sadie Hawkins Tournament also saw its largest turnout yet, and a few creative twists helped make it one of the most talked-about events of the year. Be sure to mark your calendar you won’t want to miss it in 2026!
Here’s to another great year of golf and unforgettable moments at The Ledges. I want to personally thank each of our members for their continued support throughout 2025 and look forward to an even better year ahead. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions we ’ re always here to help make your experience the best it can be.

Our focus with the Rising Stars is to introduce the fundamentals of golf in a fun and encouraging environment while building a strong foundation for advancement into the Elites program. Juniors will learn the basics of the swing, short game, etiquette, and safety, all while developing confidence and enjoyment for the game. On the golf course, we will introduce Operation 36, teaching the game from the green back to the tee. This approach helps players understand scoring, distance control, and course progression in a way that sets them up for long-term success.
Elites
The Elites program is focused on refining fundamentals while introducing players to competitive golf. At this stage, juniors are ready to begin participating in PGA Jr. League, U.S. Kids Golf tournaments, and Drive Chip & Putt learning how to practice with purpose and compete with confidence. On-course sessions will emphasize all aspects of the game, including strategy, shot selection, short game, and course management not just playing holes, but learning how to score and improve.
The Advanced Elites group is designed for serious, competitive junior golfers. The primary focus this year is learning how to score and perform under pressure. Players will be challenged to compete from longer distances, sharpen their decision-making, and develop consistency across all areas of their game. This group is encouraged and expected to compete in U.S. Kids Golf events, JGA tournaments, PGA Jr. League, and Drive Chip & Putt with instruction geared toward tournament preparation, course strategy, and lowering scores.

Effective January 1, 2026
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the high standards and traditions of The Ledges, we will be implementing updates to two important policies: Family Guest Privileges and Dress Code. These updates are designed to ensure consistency, fairness, and the continued enjoyment of our club environment for all members and their guests.
Effective January 1, 2026, The Ledges will recognize intermediate family as the following:
Parents
In-laws
Brothers and sisters
Children
These individuals will continue to receive the intermediate family guest rate when visiting the club.
Please note that the following family members will not fall under the intermediate family category and will be subject to the full guest fee:
Cousins
Aunts and uncles
Nieces and nephews
We appreciate your understanding as we clarify this policy to ensure fairness and consistency across all member accounts.
To preserve the standards and image of The Ledges, all members and guests are expected to adhere to the following dress code guidelines while on club property:
Hats must be worn forwards at all times.
Hats must be removed when entering any dining area of the clubhouse
Collared shirts are required and must remain tucked in at all times.
Cargo shorts or pants are not permitted on property.
We thank all members for setting the example and helping us uphold the professional and polished environment that defines The Ledges experience
We truly appreciate your cooperation and continued support as we strive to enhance the member experience at The Ledges. These updates reflect our shared commitment to excellence, tradition, and respect for one another. Together, we can ensure that The Ledges remains a place we are all proud to call our club.

In order to ensure fair play and accurate handicaps for all members, we ask that everyone strictly follow USGA Rules of Golf and Handicap Guidelines Moving forward, the following policies will be in place:
Score Posting Requirement
Members must post at least 10 scores each calendar year in GHIN to remain eligible for club events.
Inactive GHIN Accounts
Members who do not meet this requirement will have their GHIN account set to inactive and will not be eligible to participate in club tournaments
Monthly Score Review
We will review playing records on a monthly basis to confirm that rounds played at the club are being posted accurately to GHIN.
Playing Groups & Rules Enforcement
All groups are expected to play strictly by the Rules of Golf. This includes: Counting all strokes played (no “gimme” putts in official rounds).
Playing the course as marked (penalty areas, hazards, etc.).
Recording and posting scores accurately.
Playing the ball as is lies, unless it is cart path only Maintaining proper handicaps protects the integrity of the game for everyone, especially when we travel and compete as a club. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the game fair and enjoyable
Hole-in-One Club Policy
At The Ledges, we offer an optional Hole-in-One Club for our members. Here’s how it works:
Each time a member of the Hole-in-One Club makes an ace, every participant is charged $10. The total pot is then split between the lucky golfer half awarded as Pro Shop credit and half as credit on their club account
To qualify, the hole-in-one must be witnessed by someone in the group. When part of the hole in one club, you will receive a flag specific to that hole
This is a fun and exciting way to celebrate one of golf’s rarest achievements and share the moment with your fellow members! Please reach out to Jordan DeBonis to sign up for the club! jdebonis@theledges com
