Golf Update from Rob Clark

What a year 2023 has been. It’s been another remarkable year for record breaking rounds and an impressive level of participation. I’d like to express my gratitude to all our members for their unwavering support. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to bring the golf programs that bring us so much joy. While football and hunting season are gaining momentum, I encourage you not to forget about our beloved course. We can still find some great days in November and December for golf. As we approach the 25,000 round mark, I want to extend my appreciation to Jim Howell and the outstanding Agronomy Team for their dedication in keeping the course in impeccable condition. Many of us get the opportunity to play golf all around the world and it’s always nice to come back home knowing that we have a gem like this right at home.

With the Holiday season approaching, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about your Christmas plans. We will have a wide selection of apparel for all golfers. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm as our annual Pro-Shop sale returns to the Ballroom this year. This day also coincides with our annual Tree Lighting, kicking off the Ledges Holiday season. Make a night of it, come do your shopping and stay for dinner as we wrap your purchases. It’s a win-win for everyone as you’ll find fantastic savings on that night.

This year we asked several members of the club to help with a golf course program to improve our course etiquette. We called them the “Golf Force” and they were tasked to help educate our members on proper ways to maintain the golf

course. I want to thank all of them for their hard work and making a difference on the course. The idea is simple - if we can leave the golf course in better condition than when we played it, we all stand to benefit.

Looking ahead to 2024, we’re already in the planning stages and excited to build on the momentum we’ve achieved.

All events have a 72-Hour Cancellation Policy.

Any cancellations or changes to the party sizes must be made before 72-hours prior to an event.

After that time, the full price of the event will be charged.
