A JOURNEY OF IMPACT

In the heart of a community that dares to dream, two brothers, Brent and Kyle, embarked on an extraordinary nonprofit adventure Their vision was simple yet powerful – to create a community that would come together to make a positive impact Little did they know that the heroes of this story would be the individuals who joined their cause, turning their vision into a remarkable reality

The journey began in 2011 with a mantra: “Where There’s A Wheel, There’s A Way ” Over the years,

momentum grew beyond the Pease Brothers and the KPF community was established In 2022, the Pease Brothers took their passion from wheeling together to pushing beyond limits with The Kyle Pease Foundation In 2023, “Pushing Beyond Limits” remained the motivation for Brent and Kyle to continue pushing to the finish lines Each year the bar is raised emphasizing the core values of The Kyle Pease Foundation - teamwork, engagement, connection, and community

2023 ANNUAL REPORT 15 2023 ANNUAL REPORT 14

Because of individuals in the KPF community, the annual grant program was established in 2013 to provide three grants and financial relief with funds donated by generous community support partners and fund-raising volunteer efforts

“To date, we’ve provided over $136,000 in grants,” Brent stated, “that will leave a lasting impact, long after that KPF athlete crosses the finish line ”

Our volunteers’ passion for inclusion has continued to soar making 2023 a historic year for The Kyle Pease Foundation In 2023, 124 in-chair athletes served and 1148 finish lines were crossed The KPF community raced over 42 different endurance events across 11 states Everyone’s effort continues to stitch the fabric of a supportive and resilient team

As the chapters unfold, Brent and Kyle wish to express their gratitude and their hope for the future Creating more opportunities for racing, for giving back and for inclusion “Each and every one that makes up KPF, adds to the uniqueness of the foundation, and we cannot thank each and every one of you enough,” expressed Kyle

And so, the story continues, with more victories and milestones on the horizon, written by the collective effort of a community that dares to dream

ALOHA, AMBITIOUS PLANS!

As KPF’s story continues to unfold, Brent and Kyle will return to Kona in 2024, competing a second time in the IRONMAN World Championship to help further expand the Inclusive Employment Program Their enthusiasm and belief in the cause propels KPF to run farther than the nonprofit had ever expected

THE JAKE GOLF TOURNAMENT

Jake Vinson will always be close to our hearts, as he was the first athlete to work with The Kyle Pease Foundation Jake’s legacy lives on through the foundation, and his spirit continues to inspire love and faith in our community Each year, participants of The Jake Golf Tournament help us make a difference for people living with disabilities All proceeds go directly to the Jake Vinson Family Grant, as well as other foundation programs and events Past recipients of the Jake Vinson Family Grant have been awarded accessible vehicles, remodeled bathrooms, and modified living spaces to meet individual needs

We’re grateful for our amazing supporters who help us live out Jake’s incredible spirit And we extend a special thank you to Scott, Amy and Noah Vinson for their long-term friendship and commitment to The Kyle Pease Foundation

In August 2024, The Kyle Pease Foundation held its first-ever tennis tournament, For the Love of Inclusion The event was a complete sell-out and raised $30,000 to support KPF’s Grant Program

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

PUSHING BEYOND LIMITS FOR INCLUSION

ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING THINGS THE KYLE PEASE FOUNDATION DOES EACH YEAR IS PRESENT A VARIETY OF GRANTS TO DESERVING FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY

The Kyle Pease Foundation expanded its annual grant offerings in 2020 to include three unique opportunities Each of our annual grants is named in honor of beloved family members who have passed away: while they’re no longer with us, their spirit and legacy live on through the foundation

The Jake Vinson Family Grant

In 2015, The Kyle Pease Family Foundation Grant was renamed The Jake Vinson Family Grant in memory of our late friend, Jake Vinson Jake was the first KPF Athlete and will forever be remembered as a young man who embodies the spirit of our organization This grant is intended for individuals and families who are living with a disability and looking to enhance their quality of life through resources that may not be readily available

The Lucye Caplan Broken Wheel award is generously provided by the Caplan family Lucye was a passionate supporter of The Kyle Pease Foundation and loved the organization’s mission and engagement During her fight against cancer, Lucye was motivated and encouraged by KPF athletes and volunteers overcoming odds to achieve their dreams She maintained a similar attitude throughout her life and truly lived the philosophy of ‘find a way ’ Jeff, Will and Danny Caplan have created an ongoing award and grant to honor Lucye’s memory, celebrate her incredible spirit and support the foundation’s mission

Bethany Rutledge and her husband John often participated in KPF events, gathered their friends to race, and shared the message about inclusion on race day When Bethany was unexpectedly taken from her loved ones in 2019, John wanted to find a way to carry on her legacy and help those that she loved in The Kyle Pease Foundation community Bethany often encouraged others to be brave, which led her family to establish The Bethany Rutledge Courage Award This grant supports a family annually by helping with their individual needs

17 individuals raised over $185,000 to support The Kyle Pease Foundation in the 29029 Everest events ‘23

INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

The Kyle Pease Foundation Inclusive Employment Program was established in 2017 when our first inclusive employee, Justin Knight, approached KPF after he raced with us He never asked us for a grant, but for an opportunity to join the front office team and help give back to his community, inspire by our founder, Kyle Pease

Currently, The Kyle Pease Foundation employs five (5) Inclusive Employees who play a key role in our day-to-day operations at KPF These are individuals who have a disability and through KPF, have a strong skill set that contributes to the growth, success, and ongoing support of our KPF Athletes and their families
