King’s Showcase is the annual exhibition of works created by our Year 12 students for the Higher School Certificate Examination in Visual Arts, Industrial Arts and Computing Studies.

Comp feed is a prototype of an application where it will sort the prices and rating of restaurants that offer food delivery. I chose to make this as it is time consuming to compare delivery fees between different delivery services and this app is designed to counter these issues.
My project is built to display Cricket scores of any series, display various news articles, and all the upcoming fixtures of the Cricket season. This is aimed at people who want to view the scores, and score analysts/ interpreters. I chose to make this project due to my passion for Cricket.
My project allows the camera to take an image of a student, compare the facial feature to the one on the database, and identify which student it matches with. This can be used to mark the roll, saving time on arrival.
My project is an accessible live website allowing users to browse different web pages regarding the fictional game/business. The project was coded in VSC using HTML, CSS and Javascript allowing functions like the cart page, responsive navbar, etc. Meanwhile the game itself was made in Fusion360 and Adobe Indesign/ Illustrator.
eSRS (electronic spaced repetition system) is an app which allows users to create and practise flashcards. The app then provides the front of the flashcard to the user and prompts them to enter an answer which the app uses to check and rate user progress, giving them flashcards according to their strengths and weaknesses.

AR+ provides an immersive experience for users to explore the world of Augmented Reality. The app has multiple filters from pop culture character Spider-Man.
Sendrr. is a sports tracking app for Mountain Bikers. Sendrr. Records users rides and allows them to view relevant statistics such as GPS locations of their ride, time, and distance. This is then uploaded to their profile where they can compete against other users and view the ride log of their friends.
My project is a visual novel. A digital version of a fiction story that uses buttons and choices allowing the user to interact with it to create their own story. The visual novel also involves minigames to allow more user interactivity, making it engaging and fun.
My project is a website which allows users to choose a set of bike frames and suspension, with information that would otherwise be difficult and time consuming to find. The website is efficient and userfriendly, allowing operators to mix and match parts and bikes.
Private Drive is a single-user internet storage solution, that allows the user to store their files on a database separate to their device.
Snowflake is a snow sports management app which allows users to track resort bookings for accommodation and lift tickets, whilst viewing live weather information to allow for full control over snow related activities.

Media Equipment Logger is a spreadsheet interaction interface that allows users to record lent equipment through QR codes. Users would be able to use their computer’s camera to scan camera equipment QR codes to log whether it was lent out or not.
My project is a user-input sleep tracking app that uses an algorithm to analyse different aspects of a user’s sleep, such as the hours slept, their mood after waking up, etc. The app turns a percentage that represents the quality of sleep.
TapBoarding allows boarding students to sign-in and out at the ease of a tap using fingerprint identification technology. Boarders will no longer experience the congested after school sign-ins, and staff can easily get an overview of each student’s location!
My project is a website for football fans that provides football news, insights and stats to develop an understanding of the game and the teams.

My project is a warehousing system designed to update stock for a company where admins can login and and change the values. Employees can login and view the stock of every item. The Project was coded in Java with some addons such as Java swing and Java UI.
My project is a learn-trading-to-earn NFT game that allows you to trade Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin with virtual money and earn token SIM. The app contains everything you need to become a successful crypto trader: portfolio, watchlist, live prices, charts, news, etc for BTC, ETH, ADA, and many other coins. The app can test different trading strategies and monitor portfolios in real-time.
My project is an A 2 player board game playable on a shared device, luck being the main factor of the victor.
Pinpoint is a location finding app designed to showcase areas around Sydney that are not mainstream tourist locations. Using the interactive map, discover and explore underground bars, blissful garden retreats and secret hidden beaches from the city’s CBD to the Greater Sydney Region.
KaraOK is a music app which allows users to stream songs from a wide variety of available music. The app also allows users to create and add songs to playlists. Where the data is available users are also able to view lyrics of songs in real time and sing along.
Weisen Huang Time Tracker
Time Tracker assists computer operators with time organisation with maximum ease of use. The application will track and display forgotten details of digital actions in an intuitive and meaningful way. Tracking, in the background, Time Tracker records the minutes you have spent actively using certain websites and applications and creates graphs of that usage at your request.

AR+ provides an immersive experience for users to explore the world of augmented reality. The app has several levels that provide the user with obstacles and challenges to find the hidden stars. Once the required number of stars have been found and collected, the user will transition to the next level.
My project is custom Tetris played against an AI. Users can customise the board size, and create new pieces to play with, with the option of three custom saved game setups.
PassGuard is a secure mobile password manager built for iOS, native to iPhone 13 and above, running iOS 15 and above. All PassGuard data is encrypted and never leaves the device. Cards are used to store passwords, which are protected with a custom encryption system providing additional protection if the physical device is compromised.
Enable is a fitness planning and social media application for iPhone which allows users to build a vast library of individual exercises which can be used at the gym or while participating in other physical activities. Users can create a profile and communicate with other users on the app, sharing advice or exercises they have created.
My project is a mobile application made to securely hold and navigate stock data using a simplistic array to input those details.

I have produced a reminders style application allowing users to plan out their day through reminders. Users would be able to record each reminder’s title, turn on or off the urgency toggle as well as include any other information they would like to access when they tap into the application.

My project is a computer application where the user can cipher and decipher an inputted word or sentence into 5 different types of ciphers. The user is also able to change the colour theme of the application to four other colour themes.
My project is a text-based boss rush game that is used to test your skills, strategies and resource management abilities.
Arctrus Home is a smart home app for iOS. It provides an interface to control smart devices from any location if connected to the internet. The user may add and edit accessories, save and activate scenes, and view usage statistics to better manage their time. Although the app does not connect to real-life accessories, it provides the interface to do so, and this functionality may be added for deployment in the future.
My project is a warehousing app. It includes a login for the user to prevent unauthorised access, the ability to create and save items to a database including: their name, weight and the stock of the item, while saving the time the item was created.

For my Industrial Technology major, I redesigned and modified an enduro mountain bike to be more capable for downhill mountain biking. This was done by changing components and frame geometry. I have rendered and prototyped this project through CAD and 3D printing.

My project focuses on three main project areas, military body armour, a military gas mask (and filter), as well as military webbing. When combined, all three aspects make up vital parts of a 21st soldier’s battle equipment.
My project is a detailed, functional self-designed cabinet fully functioning with items furnishing the display case. Designed to suit any home with a modern and minimalistic style, the cabinet allows owners to store/ display their most valued possessions. This project was undertaken due to its extreme five-hundred component complexity and versatility of skills.

My major project is a collection of drawings based on the designs of two model trains I created - a Sydney T-set train and a steam locomotive. They are based on my own personal interest in model trains, particularly the complex and intricate designs, and how they condense features of passenger trains.

Due to the hard leather cricket ball coming in at high speeds, it’s essential for the batsman to have effective gear which fulfills the requirements. I have made a stainless-steel bench, designed to fit into a corner. It is at standing room height to allow comfortable service of drinks. I used stainless steel tubes for the frames and a stainless-steel sheet for the top. A TIG welder was used to join the pieces together.

For my major project, I have designed and constructed a portable stainless steel fileting table. I have built the table so that the legs can be taken out for easy transportation. I have also added handles and a bag holder for easier processing of the fish.

My project is a large, three axle flatbed trailer designed to carry up to 4500Kg. Most of the frame is made from 75x75 RHS and 150x50 RHS steel which I have MIG welded together. It can carry a shipping container via pins on each corner.
My project is a portable sheep loading ramp designed for ease of movement around the farm. It is made from 40x40 RHS and 1.6mm galvanised sheet, which protects it from corrosion. It has extra steel to improve its strength.

For my major project, I have designed and constructed a ute tray for my Mitsubishi Triton. The tray includes a double headboard and a checked aluminium floor. The tray is painted with black hammer tone to contrast the aluminium floor. The tray is designed to cart hay around our farm.
For my major project, I have designed and constructed a car trailer. The trailer was built from mild steel, coupled with a winch and ramps for user effectiveness and ease. It will allow family and friends to transport vehicles and other items from place to place as it is registered.
For my project, I have constructed a flatbed trailer with a removable headboard and removable sides. The trailer will be used to carry fencing equipment and poly pipe around the farm. Due to its use, it has been constructed out of mild steel so that it can be easily modified in the future.
For my major project, I have designed and constructed a ute tray. The tray was constructed out of mild steel for durability and strength. I have designed it to fit and replicate my ute cab, coupled with toolboxes adding additional storage. The tray was also powder coated to ensure an aesthetic and durable finish.

My project is an aluminium ute canopy to fit on the back of my ute. Most of the construction is via TIG welding and it has been powder coated to improve its appearance and protect the aluminium. Adjustable leg stands allow easy loading/unloading.
For my major project I designed and constructed a dual axel flatbed trailer. I constructed a durable and versatile trailer suitable for any number of occasions with the possibility of further modifications in the future. The trailer is fully roadworthy allowing me to tow it wherever necessary.
For my major project, I constructed a diesel fuel trailer. I made the fuel tank out of metal, welding the ends into a rolled pipe. The chassis was further constructed from C channel and RHS, with a powder coat finish. The fuel trailer is to be used to cart fuel to machinery working in the paddock.
My project is a movable chicken pen made from aluminium section and mesh. Most of the joining techniques is via MIG welding. I also made a small trailer, designed to carry an irrigation spray tank behind a 4-quad bike.

For my project, I designed and constructed a small flatbed trailer with dropdown sides. This will be used to transport pallets/chemical shuttles, small vehicles, and different machinery around the farm. The sides are removable so the trailer can be loaded with ease and transport larger farm equipment.
My project is a sheep loading ramp which can be moved around the property to help load sheep onto trucks. The loading ramp was constructed using 40x40 and 30x30 duragal RHS, MIG welded together.
For my major project, I have designed and constructed an all-purpose box trailer. I have chosen to make my trailer out of galvanised steel to ensure longevity. The trailer is 7x5 feet, giving enough space to hold tools and even furniture. It will be used to help with my mowing business to support me through completing university.

My project is a flatbed trailer which has a hydraulic ram to push up the bed. The bed pivots on hinges at the rear of the trailer. I used a combination of 50x50, 75x50 and 100x50 mild steel RHS, in addition to tread plate for the floor. It has been powder coated.

My project is a large, enclosed trailer designed to carry motorbikes and other machinery. It has been constructed from mild steel RHS and tread plate, MIG welded together. The frame is covered in aluminium composite sheeting, riveted to hold it in place.
My major project is a 8’ x 5’ dual axle box trailer, designed specifically to carry drones. It is made from mild RHS sections and tread plate. The sides were folded by Savaan Group. It is finished in blue epoxy enamel paint.
My project is a dual axle flatbed trailer made from 50x50, 75x50 and 100x50 mild steel RHS. The deck is made from steel tread plate. I used an MIG welder to join the components together and painted it with an epoxy enamel.

For my major project, I have designed and constructed a two-seater dune buggy. I constructed the entire frame with the assistance of tube bending. The buggy is ready to have the engine and steering rack installed so that it can be used at the farm.
My project is a dog box/stand designed to fit on the back of my ute. It has pins to hold carcases. Most of the construction is from mild steel RHS, which I MIG welded together. I also used some steel channel which I modified on the mill.
My project is a heavy-duty tipping box trailer with dual axles, allowing it to carry substantial loads. Most of the frame is made from mild steel RHS, MIG welded together. The mud guards are folded from mild steel sheet. A battery and hydraulic pump are enclosed in a toolbox.

My project is a galvanised single axle enclosed trailer. The frame is made primarily from 75x50 mild steel RHS which I MIG welded together. I used aluminium composite panels to cover the frame and finished the corners with aluminium angle.
My project is a dual axle enclosed trailer designed to be used as a work trailer for carrying tools and more. I used a MIG welder to join the RHS steel frame together. The trailer is covered with mild steel sheet and a steel angle has been used to weatherproof the corners.

My dining table is made from Walnut and Huon Pine and includes a drawer with a secret compartment, hand cut dovetails and a magnetic locking mechanism. The table can be disassembled by removing tusk tenons with hand carve.

I have made a stand-up paddle board with a hand-crafted paddle. The board is made from plywood and is covered with a layer of fibreglass to give it protection and strength. It is lightweight and elegant, and I look forward to using the board on the lagoon at home.
My project is a modern interpretation of a classic 70’s TV-Cabinet. It is made from both solid and veneered Blackbutt. It will be used to replace my current tvcabinet. I’m proud of the result, and it will be much appreciated at home.
I made a large butcher’s block table using recycled Oregon pine for the base and old brush box for the board. The structure is designed to be robust and will take hard use without a problem. I look forward to using the project to prepare barbeque meals and chop meat.

I have built a timber malibu surfboard inspired by 1960’s vintage timber board designs. The board is 9ft which makes it perfect to be used as both a decorative piece and a functional board. Its durable yet lightweight Paulownia structure is aesthetically accented with vibrant red gum stringers running along its centre. The board was then finished with a strong fibreglass exterior.
I have made a contemporary Wine Barrel Bar Cabinet to store and present drinks, bottles, and other accessories. The revolving shelves improve the storage functionality. I have a wooden locking mechanism for the door. It will be used for outdoor entertaining and as an interesting conversation piece.
I have made a coffee table with a chess board and a set of chessmen. I used Victorian Ash for the base and Snake wood veneer on the top. I incorporated four drawers into the table to store books and games.
I have created a round dining table, using American White Oak with a piece of Black Hearted Black Sassafras as an accent. It has a matching Lazy Susan in the centre. I thickened the edges of the table to give the project a greater presence.

I have made a Fijian mahogany and white oak hall stand that consists of a spacious drawer and an adjustable large portrait mirror. The hall stand will be placed in a narrow hallway near the entrance of my house. The table will functionally hold day to day accessories in an orderly manner and the mirror will be used to easily self-inspect oneself when leaving or arriving.

I have made a contemporary black walnut and white oak jewellery box. It includes a large top level storage compartment which caters for larger jewellery pieces. The middle layer has two pivoting drawers that elegantly open on hand-made wooden hinges. Moreover, a secret button between these two pivoting drawers reveals a third secret drawer which can be used to safely secure more precious accessories.

I have made a modern timber hanging chair to compliment my outdoor swimming pool. Unlike other hanging chairs, the bent timber appearance of my design was achieved by laminating over 13 pieces of thinly cut timber around a pre-made curved jig. The overall ergonomics of my chair was then increased by adding a custom-made removable cushion.

I have made a Wood Duck Kayak using the stitch a glue method. The boat was covered with a fibreglass layer to protect the timber. I’m planning to use it for fishing and for paddling on the Nerang River near my home.
I have made a timeless coffee table using camphor laurel timber. The table includes a spacious drawer and modern shelfing for storage. Moreover, the tabletop embodies unique butterfly keys on its top and some intricate inlays along the two sides. It will be used in my living room at home.
Inspired by both modern Scandinavian and Japanese design, my American white oak and zebrano tambour cabinet fuses understated sleekness with distinctive character to contrive a beautifully functional art-piece. The tambour cabinet and legs captivate viewers by combining the elegant curvature of the tambour with the angularity of the cabinet shell and hand-crafted pyramid tipped dowels.
I have designed a timelessly elegant victorian ash and sydney blue gum rocking chair. The chair features two large curved laminated legs, an ergonomically shaped back rest and a hand carved saddle seat. I plan to place this Rocking Chair next to the fireplace at home where family members can easily access it if they need a place to sit back and relax.

I have created a 1970’s inspired hollow timber surfboard which aims to combine both authentic and modern Hawaiian aesthetic with ergonomic functionality. It is made from paulownia timber with vibrant red gum stringers. Moreover, the board has strong exterior rails made from laminated plywood. I intend to use this board at my local surf spot down in Kiama. Therefore, it was made to be able to stand a range of conditions including varying wave types and sizes.
I created a contemporary butcher’s table which embodies contrasting American walnut and rock maple timber. The centre butchers block works as the main feature of the table. Its intricate design forms an eyecatching optical illusion which is equally aesthetic as it is functional. The table embodies two drawers which can be used for cutlery, as well as spacious shelving for additional storage.
