Smile when you think of me. Remember me with joy. Remember the laughter, the love, the beauty, and the light I tried to bring into every room I entered. If I was ever “that girl,” it was only because God blessed me with a spirit that loved deeply, dreamed boldly, and found joy in making life a little more beautiful for the people around me.

I loved expressing myself through style, through creativity, and through the work of my hands. Whether through fashion, beauty, or the businesses I built, I found happiness in creating experiences that made people feel special, confident, and seen. What I offered was never just about how something looked — it was about how it made you feel.

But more than anything, I want to be remembered for my love. Love that showed up. Love that gave. Love that covered. Love that lives on in my girls, Celine and Cassidi, in my family, and in every life I was blessed to touch. Being their mother was my greatest joy, and the love I poured into them is the legacy I leave with the most pride and gratitude.

So don’t hold on to me only in sorrow. Hold on to me in the memories that make you laugh, in the moments that made you feel loved, and in the beauty of a life that was lived with grace and heart. Carry me with celebration, not just sadness.

And when you speak my name, let it be with warmth. Let it remind you that I was here, that I loved, that I lived, and that by God’s grace, I left something beautiful behind.

Yasmin Jimmeka Clay was born on January 30, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Jim Clay and Faye Jackson-Clay. From the very beginning, Yasmin brought light, love, and determination into the lives of those around her.

She possessed a vibrant spirit, an unmistakable sense of style, and a heart that inspired all who were blessed to know her.

Yasmin was preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Jasmin Clay, Louise Jackson Maternal Grandmother and Annie Pearl Clay Paternal Grandmother.

Yasmin Jimmeka Clay passed peacefully on June 24, 2026, at 3:58 a.m., in the home of her honorary God-parents Ronnie and Christina Swilling after atenacious journey with cancer.

She received her education in the Jonesboro High School system and later continued her studies at Javelin Tech, where she earned a certification in Front Office Medical Administration. Yasmin was ambitious and driven, always striving to build a better future for herself and for those she loved.

In 2022, Yasmin served as an Account Resolution Specialist II with Porsche Financial Services, where she was recognized for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Her talents, however, extended far beyond the corporate world. Known for her impeccable fashion sense and love of accessories, Yasmin transformed her passion into purpose by becoming a successful entrepreneur. She owned multiple boutiques, including her most recent venture, Celine Chanel Collection.

After courageously defeating breast cancer in July 2024, Yasmin turned her victory into a mission to uplift others. Her journey inspired the creation of Pinking & Co., a brand dedicated to creating beautiful hair accessories for women and girls undergoing chemotherapy. Through her creativity and compassion, she helped others feel confident, beautiful, and seen during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Yasmin was bold, resilient, fashionable, and fiercely determined. She faced challenges with grace, celebrated life with style, and never ceased finding ways to encourage others. Simply put, she was truly unforgettably THAT GIRL.

As the night gave way to dawn, her spirit found rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, loyalty, and perseverance. Though this second battle was difficult, God, in His infinite wisdom, knew best.

Though Yasmin’s earthly journey has come to an end, her remarkable legacy lives on through her two beautiful daughters, Cassidi Thomas and Celine Britt.
