Tamaro Latrice Ellis April 20, 1981 - September 16, 2026
Tamaro Ellis was born on April 20, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, to her late parents, Doris Zellars and Adolphus Ellis. Tamaro graduated from Douglas High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She later continued her education at Georgia Military College where she received her Associate’s in Criminal Justice and Albany State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. Tamaro had a creative spirit and loved making things with her hands. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, and, most of all, spending quality time with her family. Her creativity, love for life, and devotion to those she cherished will be fondly remembered. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Krishay Wilson and Zakiyah Ellis; her grandchildren, Ja’heem McLeroy and Ja’meena Stanley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends who loved her deeply. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
