Enjoy a complete recap of The Joint’s national conference starting on page 4
President and CEO, Sanjiv Razdan
Thank you to all those who recently attended our Align26 national conference! Nearly 300 members of our system, including franchisees and their managers, doctors, regional developers and their teams, joined me, the Executive Leadership Team and CSC associates in sunny Scottsdale for an energizing few days of reconnecting, strengthening relationships and mapping our path forward. Plus, we took the time for one of my personal favorite moments: the annual Awards Dinner. It was an honor to present our top-performing clinics and individuals with well-deserved recognition; the room radiated with a collective pride and joy for the finalists and winners. You can find a full event recap, a complete list of award winners and photos of some memorable moments starting on page 4
Align26 was also about taking an honest look at where we are today, acknowledging the shifting landscape our patients are navigating, and the action we must take to move our system forward together with purpose.
The key insight from Align26 is both simple and critical: active members are the key to reigniting growth. In fact, our data reinforces this clearly:
• Our top 10 percent of patients account for 45 percent of total visits and 40 percent of our revenue.
• These MVPs (Most Valuable Patients) visit their local clinic an average of 23 times per year.
• The next patient subset visits us only 9 times annually.

These findings are why we are aligning around Active Member Growth as our obsession metric and establishing a goal of 600 active members per clinic each month for 2026.
So how do we achieve this?
We have established five strategic priorities, core levers that will allow us to generate strong leads that will convert into New Patients, improve visit frequency and strengthen long-term retention:
1. Build a Strong Brand and Drive Sales
2. Deliver a Consistently Exceptional Member Experience
3. Provide Effective Clinical Care
4. Have Winning People and Culture
5. Improve Clinic Profitability
When we bring people in, convert them to members and keep them engaged, Active Member Growth will follow. We have a significant opportunity in front of us to achieve real results, and I am confident in what we can achieve together if we remain focused, consistent and aligned.
Together we serve,

Sanjiv Razdan

Earlier this month, nearly 300 members of our franchise system gathered at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona for Align26. Franchisees and their managers, Regional Developers and their teams, field operators, CSC associates and other guests came together to align around the five strategic pillars of our business and create the momentum that will shape the future of our business and the future of chiropractic.

This is the year of reigniting growth. More people want relief from pain and care that is simple, affordable and represents great value, and The Joint is in position to lead a new era of wellness.
During the General Session Experience, conference attendees heard presentations from the Executive Leadership Team focused on the strategic priorities that will help drive active member growth.
By anchoring in these strategies and uniting around our shared commitment, we can create the momentum that will move the brand, move care forward, move the patient experience, move retention and move growth. Most importantly, we will help people move through life better. The Joint is Made to Move, and that’s exactly what we are going to do better than ever before.

“As
a first‑time attendee, this exceeded my expectations. The organization, sessions, and people made me feel welcomed and excited to be part of The Joint.”

The Individual Recognition Award for Marketing Excellence is presented by the CSC Marketing Team to a franchisee who exhibits all around excellence in executing strong marketing programs, implementing SEO and social media best practices and demonstrates an increase in New Patients and leads as a result of their efforts.
Congratulations to Toby Hines and John Wash, the 2025 Marketing Excellence Award winners!
Long-time franchisees in the South Florida market, Toby and John’s strong focus on local store marketing has strengthened current patient relationships while also consistently bringing in new patients to their clinics. Prior to their most recent clinic opening, they generated over 1,200 leads and nearly half were the result from a strong presence at local community events.

The final award category of the evening, the Presidential Awards, spotlight individuals from across the system who embody excellence in executing The Joint’s mission and vision. The selection process is extremely rigorous with extensive discussion and careful weighing of the merits, performance metrics and contributions of each candidate.
Edona consistently sets a high standard for what it means to be an exceptional Wellness Coordinator. She operates with integrity, and her commitment to excellence is reflected in her attention to detail, strong follow through and high standards for patient experience. The strong trust she has built with patients is evident by an incredible 93% New Patient conversion rate in 2025.
“She is trusted by patients, respected by colleagues, and relied upon by leadership,” said franchisee Phil Olasa who nominated Elona. “Her continued growth and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the clinic and a strong representative of The Joint’s values.”
Known for her analytical assessments and highly skilled adjustments, Dr. Mendez averages over 1,200 office visits per month, even treating entire families. Her bilingual skills allows her to connect meaningfully with a broader patient base, making chiropractic care more personal and more accessible.
“Dr. Mendez exemplifies what it means to be a Top Doctor — trusted by patients, respected by her peers, and deeply committed to excellence in every facet of her work,” said franchisee Joe Burum in his nomination.

In certain states, The Joint Corp. and its franchisees provide management services to affiliated professional chiropractic practices, known as PCs.
Dr. Joel Manion is passionate about The Joint’s mission and imparts that passion into the support and guidance that he provides to the doctors and franchisees in his area. He emphasizes the importance of patient-centered care, and his commitment to education ensures that his team stays at the forefront of chiropractic practices.
“Dr. Manion not only enhances the practice but also reinforces The Joint’s mission of making chiropractic care accessible and beneficial for all,” said franchisee Richard Van de Steeg II in his nomination. “His passion and dedication to both his team and patients exemplify the essence of a leader committed to wellness and chiropractic excellence.”
Brad and Lora’s leadership has solidified their region as one of the strongest in the system with consistent performance year after year. They have worked to align franchisees and ensure everyone is working together, sharing best practices and learning from one another, resulting in consistent execution, strong conversion rates and a 9% attrition across the region.
“[Brad and Lora] lead with integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to people, creating trust, alignment, and long term stability across the region,” says franchisee Dr. Jeremy Casagrande, D.C. “Franchise owners see them not just as developers, but as true partners in their growth.”

Nominated by the RDs and FBCs and chosen by our Executive Leadership Team, this award recognizes a new franchise individual or team who has excelled in their first year of operation.
Dr. Young spent his early career as a DC in South Florida and fell in love with The Joint’s patient-centric concept. Now, as a franchisee, he uses the training and resources he received to create a proven operational model that is generating ongoing success.
Their Lawton clinic achieved GO Elite honors by Day 50, generating over 1,000 leads through strong community engagement and active participation in local events. They continue to generate over 200 leads every month, converting about half into New Patients.
"Cole loves this industry and gives his patients what they need to love the field back! He is wonderful and meeting the patient where they are and becomes their trusted DC of choice,” said Regional Developers Kevin Stutz and Angela Gathings in their nomination.

This award recognizes the franchise individual or team who demonstrated an outstanding ability to elevate their business, staff, the brand, and their fellow franchisees in 2025.
Ernie Arellano embodies the spirit of the franchise community, frequently welcoming other franchisees and operations leaders into his clinics to observe and share operational successes and challenges. Whether hosting robust in-clinic patient appreciation events or partnering with local community events, Ernie understands the importance of local store marketing in giving back to current patients to drive retention and attracting and converting new patients.
“Ernie is a standout advocate for The Joint Chiropractic,” says Regional Developer Shane Weber in his nomination. “He is a ‘true believer’ in the mission of making chiropractic care accessible to everyone and consistently projects that passion to his team and patients.”

This month, we’re spotlighting The Joint Chiropractic – Downey (CA) for their creative and community-driven approach to social media. Their content goes beyond traditional posting and actively engages patients through interactive experiences like hosting an in-clinic Easter egg hunt for the chance to win up to six free visits!
Downey also strikes a strong balance between entertainment and education, consistently blending social media trends with chiropractic-focused messaging. Their use of trending formats helps capture attention, while their DC-led content reinforces credibility by educating followers on posture, mobility, and overall wellness. This mix keeps their content discoverable while still delivering value to their audience.
The clinic is leveraging social media as a growth tool by hosting a local giveaway tied to a follower milestone: once they reach 1,000 followers, they’ll give away 10 free visits! This strategy not only incentivizes engagement and sharing but also builds community awareness in a meaningful way.
By combining interactive campaigns, trend-forward content, and educational value, The Joint Chiropractic – Downey (CA) is a great example of how clinics can use social media to connect with their local audience while driving real results!

An updated version of the mobile app is now live in the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). The update includes a fix for an issue that could cause duplicate check-ins to appear in AXIS.
Patients will either be notified that a new version is available the next time they open the app, or the app may automatically update, depending on their device settings. We recommend asking patients to update to the latest version to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
If your clinic continues to experience any issues, please submit a Mobile App Bug Feedback ticket through the IT HelpDesk so our team can further investigate and assist with troubleshooting.
