I’ve always wanted to help people in my community. Having Tanners Gas Station allows me to put a smile on people’s faces, whether they’re going to work in the morning or coming home in the evening.

I’ve worked hard to be able to own my own stores. Tanners in Sumter and Manning and Sportsman’s provides all your fuel-up, snack and convenience store needs, and I love talking to all of you every day and seeing your faces, both returning and new. I’m excited for the future.

I used to be an accountant, but I always knew I wanted to be in retail ever since coming here at 13. My dreams came true in 2010, and I thank all the loyal customers and the staff at Tanners for making us the Best Gas Station in Sumter for 2023 and now nine years in a row!

Whether you need gas or an on-the-go phone charger, breakfast, lunch or a hot dinner, a refreshing drink or a quick snack, Tanners will send you away satisfied. We offer a variety of fuel, including regular gas, propane, small engine fuel and race gas. Our store is packed with fast snacks, including candy, chips and cold beverages. Our pizza and wings are hot and ready to take out or eat here daily. So, whether you need a grab-and-go or to sit back and relax for a bit, we have it at Tanners.

Sportsman's Stop & Shop on U.S. 15 South offers bait and tackle supplies. We’re excited to expand by renovating the old Sumter County Flea Market property.

I love doing what I do, and even though I offered to close during COVID-19, my staff wanted to return to work. Everything we do is to serve the community.

From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank the voters enough for honoring Tanners with the Best of Sumter 2023 award for Best Gas Station. And thank you to my customers and employees because I wouldn’t have anything if it weren’t for you all.
