Fortress Training

The Mineola Chamber of Commerce had a great time at the ribbon cutting for Iron Fortress Training, a Private Personal Training Gym.

As they say, “Real Results, real people, real time.”

They are located at 263 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.

Chamber board members, elected officials and representatives from the village, town, and state, were there to welcome everyone to Mineola. The ceremony was followed by a tour of the gym and the opportunity to try some of their very unique equipment.

The Village of Williston Park will host its annual “Children’s Parade for a Safer Williston Park” on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 7:00 p.m.

Paradegoers can ride their bicycle, tricycle, scooter, wagon or be pushed in a stroller through the route that starts at Broad Street and Amherst Street and ends at the Kelleher

Field picnic area. Ice cream will be served at the finish of the parade.

The village is partnering with National Night Out for the parade and a police officer from the 3rd Precinct will be the guest speaker.
