Come inside and learn who lived there, sing along to the music of our own Front Porch Players, and learn about our honeybees from Ross, our very own beekeeper. You won’t want to miss seeing our 3-seater outhouse, the only one left in Port Washington!
Our own Dodge Homestead honey will be available, as well as Port Washington “circa 1644” tee shirts, loads of home-baked goods, beautiful jewelry galore, our CNPHS Journals and books about old Port Washington, and even some attic treasures.
Also – At 2:00 p.m. go for a guided walk around the picturesque Mill Pond and learn about the mills, early settlers, first schoolhouse and first church in Port Washington, and more!
The Dodge Homestead is located at the head of the Mill Pond, at 58 Harbor Road. There’s plenty of parking along the north side of the Pond. For more information, visitwww.cowneck.org. Admission is Free.
