Dos Toros opens first L.I. spot in NHP

Dos Toros Taqueria, a fast-casual, missionstyle eatery recently opened the doors of its frst Long Island location in New Hyde Park last Thursday.

The new spot, which can accommodate up to 66 patrons, is located at 1624 Marcus Ave. and is one of 19 restaurants making up the franchise in New York and New Jersey.
Mission-style refers to the Mission District neighborhood in San Francisco that became the home of the Mission burrito, which is larger than other versions and includes a steamed tortilla with melted cheese.
Brothers Leo and Oliver Kremer opened up their frst taqueria 13 years ago in Union Square in Manhattan
“To us food equals community.
