Feast and the furious in Manhasset

A New Hyde Park man was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after following a 39-year-old man into Manhasset’s TGI Fridays and punching him following a road rage incident, police said.

Antonio Condello, 48, verbally argued with the victim on the road near the restaurant at 1445 Northern Blvd. on Wednesday, May 24 around 4:45 p.m., police said.
Condello then allegedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle, followed the victim into TGI Fridays and punched him in the face several times before fleeing the scene, police said.
Police detained Condello at his home and recovered a black firearm from his vehicle.
The victim was not transported to the hospital as he refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Condello is charged with menacing in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and assault in the third degree.
