Safety on the farm . . . Wednesday, June 7 the valley was abuzz with students in the fourth and fifth grade and presenters focused on safety issues -- on the farm, ATV, fire. In the picture these students are learning about farm safety, the dangers of overhead lines, and keeping an eye out for traffic in the yard. The day was part of Progressive Agriculture Safety Day. These days are conducted across the country and the goal is to provide education, training and resources to make farm and ranch life safer and healthier for children and the communities.
