Hello

Welcome to the October Edition of The Hub Capricorn Coast

Here we are heading into the last quarter of 2023! The year has gone quickly so far and there is still plenty more to come!

Last month we enjoyed a few days with family in our own backyard up at Fern’s Hideaway. A great time was had, and it is such a relaxing spot right on our doorstep. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check it out yet, I highly recommend it. Anna and Wayne are fantastic hosts and a credit to our local tourism community.

We’re excited to be hosting our 2nd annual Walk for Wellbeing on Sunday 15th October. We currently have close to 80 registrations and would love for as many people to join us as possible

The purpose of the walk is to support Queensland Mental Health Week by encouraging our local community to get out and enjoy some fresh air, exercise and great company The focus is not to be the fastest, but to take the time to enjoy the journey Check out the story in this edition for more details.

This month we have some great reading instore for you featuring Nat’s Space, Lesley Blom plus more alongside our regular columnists who so generously share their knowledge and wisdom with our community.

We have new listings in our business directory which continues to grow each month. It is our pleasure to provide this free service to our community to allow all businesses an opportunity to promote themselves at no-cost.

Make sure you grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage and put some time aside to check out the October Edition.

We are always on the look out for new stories and column ideas, so if you have something that you would like us to cover, please get in touch –thehubcapricorncoast@gmail.com
