Hi, my name is Grannie Pie. I have a cape, but I can't fly.

I bake pies, cakes, and cookies too! I bake for me. I bake for you.

I love my grandchildren every day. I love them all in so many ways!

Playing outside is so much fun. Playing with Grannie out in the sun.

Growing vegetables that we can cook. We look up recipes in a book.

We play games — come have a look! Just play fair; don’t be a crook!

“I love to play, I must say. A great tea party just makes my day!”

Playing dress-up just to pretend to go somewhere with your best friend.

Pizza for dinner - you can’t go wrong! “Hot and fresh it won’t take long!

Baking cupcakes can make a mess but it’s okay, as you can guess.

Apple pie is fun to make. “First we mix, then we bake.”

Roll...roll...roll the dough. Making pies all in a row.

I want to help, and I want to play. Grannie Pie makes my day.

Fresh fruit is the name of the game or else the pie won’t taste the same.

I share the recipe as we go. “When you are done, you’ll be a pro.”

Place the pie in the oven to bake. “But be careful — there’s more to make.”

And that’s one tale of Grannie Pie, until our next adventure — goodbye.
