But behind this success a glorious history lie down. According to Britishers, a hotel is something where you can get shelter & accommodation by the exchange of certain amount of money. That means guest is getting all facilities on pay. But earlier life of a traveler was not so easy, walking was the only option for them .The entire road was full of jungle & ferocious animals, so to protect traveler at night some pagoda or monastery started to give shelter & food to those exhausted people. But remember they have started those facilities for helping people not for earning money. But gradually when localized people see the good site of this helping people a new idea got generated in their mind, they had started to offer same to the traveler but not free but on pay.
