The new museum hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is home to thousands of historical objects and artifacts, most collected from Chambers County residents. The library section contains numerous historical volumes including the genealogy records of many pioneer Chambers County families. Admission is free but donations are welcome. n The Senior Citizen Project offers van service to Chambers County seniors and disabled for Baytown, Liberty, Beaumont and Galveston. at 1305 Willcox, is taking applications for all 3-5 year olds. Taking applications between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The program offers a curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. Kirk Larry Law, 53, of Hamshire, died April 24, 2012, at his residence. He was born to Jo Ellen and Herbert Law, on January 26, 1959, in Olla, La.and was a resident of the Hamshire area since 1966. Survivors include his sister, Barbara Flickinger and her husband, Ronald, of Hamshire; two brothers, Randy Law and his wife, Charlotte, and Gregg Law and his wife, Laure, all of Hamshire; He was preceded in death by his parents.
