That leaves the District with only one remaining note which is on the newest Fire Truck, the super pumper Engine 22. In other action, the board approved the financial report which showed $1,206,109.45 in total

By Wade Thibodeaux   The East Chambers Buccaneers cruised to a 59-14 victory over the Huntington Red Devils in the first round of the 3A-Division 1 football playoffs and will next meet Little River Academy this Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Tomball at 7:30 pm. The Bucs scored early and often as they led 21-0 after the first quarter and 42-7 at the halftime break. East Chambers sort of took their foot off the gas in

the third frame, but added a field goal to lead 45-14 going into the final frame. Some of the underclassmen got in on the action in the final period and their talent and enthusiasm added another 14 points to the final tally of 59-14. East Chambers had 469 yards of total offense and crossed the goal line 7 times with the offense and the defense even got in on the scoring as a pick six resulted in another score. Even when things went wrong, they

turned out alright as a bad snap on an extra point attempt turned into a 2 point conversion. Some of the individual stats include Hadyn Reeves(#6) with 192 yards on 20 carries and 4 touchdowns and Jacoby Perrault(#10) with 4 carries for 58 yards and a score as well as 4 completions on 4 attempts in the passing department for 59 yards and another touchdown. KK Morris(#5) carried the ball 7 times for 63

yards rushing and caught 2 passes for 35 yards and a trip across the goal line. Jaden Thibodeaux(#32) came in late in the game with fresh legs and carried the ball 5 times for 44 yards and a score while Joshua Carter(#7) can be credited with the pick six. The defense did their part as 18 players combined for 54 tackles including 7 tackles for a loss and 4 interceptions. GO BUCS!!!!!!
