Firemen enter a smoke filled RV to make sure the blaze was extinguished. By Wade Thibodeaux The Chambers County Emergency services District No.1 and Winnie Stowell Volunteer Fire Department responded to an RV fire during the middle of a snowstorm last week. It appears as though the water heater on the RV malfunctioned and caused the fire.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the incident and even with longer response times due to the icy road conditions, the Firemen were able to extinguish the blaze before it could spread to additional units.
