Follow these steps to surprise your holiday guests with some tempting cheese varieties and new taste experiences:

Get creative with your platter
A serving plate is fine, but you might also use a wooden board, a slab of marble or a piece of slate.

Choose a variety of cheeses including a soft-ripened cheese, or 'bloomy rinds' as they're also known Then, add a semi-soft cheese, like gouda or havarti. You'll also need hard/firm cheeses like manchego or pecorino. And for a more tangy option add a goat's milk cheese. Round out the spectrum of flavours with a washed rind cheese and a blue cheese.

Elevate your cheese platter
To take your cheese platter to the next level, try serving something completely unique, like the PC black label Isle of Man Extra Mature Cheddar. This selection is made with locally sourced milk from the Isle of Man in the British Isles and is a full-flavoured cheese that is matured for at least 15 months. Once you've chosen the main features, enhance the platter with toppers, such as red pepper jelly, pesto, or sliced peaches.

Get your quantities right
For a party platter, appetizer, or dessert cheese plate, serve a small crowd around three to five types of cheese, and five to 10 types for a larger crowd. Calculate for approximately 30 to 40 grams of each cheese, per person.

Don't forget the accompaniments
Fruits like figs, pears and grapes are always enjoyable, but dried fruits work well too. Add unsalted roasted nuts and fresh bread and complete your platter with honey, fruit compotes and pickled vegetables. With Parking Space Come Rules
PARKING frustration. I get totally frustrated when I can’t find a parking space and all I really want is make a quick stop to get my morning coffee. The one time that I took my chances, put on the hazards – I ended up getting that $30 ticket.
R
ules are Rules. Parking infractions, in most instances, result in ticketing, towing and ultimately anger and frustration.
Condo Parking. Each condominium has its own set of rules that deal with parking. Most of the rules are needed to ensure that fire routes are kept clear and that the common areas are not obstructed by unlawfully parked cars. Condominium residents will usually have the use of a parking space that they have either purchased or are leasing. There may be rules that require owners to register their vehicles with management and sometimes there are restrictions on the types of vehicles that are permitted to be parked, even if it is in your own parking space. It is important to read the rules to see what type of vehicles are permitted, as you may be surprised to find out that your office van may be prohibited by the “no commercial vehicle” rule.

Residents should also check to see what parking spaces may be used for. No Car washing? No Car Repairs? One Vehicle only? No bicycles or motorcycles?
Those residents who invite overnight guests, will often be required to register their vehicle with management, and if they fail to do so, they are going to have one unhappy guest.
Then there are the Visitor Parking Spaces. These spaces are often the subject of disputes between residents and management. Visitor parking spaces are just that, Visitor spaces. They are not spaces to be used by residents who have another vehicle and just need another space. They are also not be used for quick drop offs by residents, like my morning coffee pick-up, and residents who use those spaces to drop off their groceries, may find out that their car is ticketed or towed when they return.
