STEP 01
Go to www.thehomenews.ca. Click on ‘LOGIN’ at the top right of the homepage (fig A). The Login window will pop up (fig B). In this window, enter in your username and password then click ‘Log In’.

STEP 02
You are now logged in. Click on ‘SUBMIT PROPERTY’ at the top of the page (fig C). This takes you to the ‘Submit New Property’ page (fig D). Fill in applicable fields (see next page). When completed click ‘Submit Property’.

Your newly created listing will now be live and searchable in 24-48 hours. To view and edit your listing(s), click on ‘MY PROPERTIES’ at the top of the page (fig E) which will take you to the ‘My Properties’ page (fig E).

Q: How do I know when my listing is posted? A: Your listing will be live and searchable on the website in 24-48 hours after it is created. If it does not appear, please contact us. Q: How can I share my listing? A: In ‘My Properties’, find the listing you want to share and click on the ‘Share’ icon located at the bottom of the listing window. Select the site you want to share it to. Q: Is there a limit to the number of listings I can post? A: No. Q: Do I have to fill in all of the fields when creating my listing? A: No. Q: Is there a limit to the number of Gallery Images I can include? A: No. Q: How do I add a SOLD banner to my listing? A: In ‘My Properties’, find the listing you want to edit and click on the ‘Edit Property’ icon located at the bottom of the listing window. Next, go down to ‘Property Status’ and change it to SOLD. Once complete, click ‘Update Property’ at the bottom of the page. Q: How do I delete my listing? A: In ‘My Properties’, find the listing you want to delete and click on the ‘Delete Property’ icon located at the bottom of the listing window. Q: Am I allowed to change the locations where my listings will be marketed at any time? A: Yes. Changes will be applied 24-48 hours after being saved. Q: Can I include hyperlinks in my description? A: Yes.
