ACADEMIC NEED
According to PublicSchoolReview.com, "Clinton County, IN public schools have an average math proficiency score of 32% (versus the Indiana public school average of 36%), and reading proficiency score of 38% (versus the 43% statewide average). Schools in Clinton County have an average ranking of 3/10, which is in the bottom 50% of Indiana public schools."
OTHER CHALLENGES FOR YOUTH
According to a Community Foundation report, the following non-academic areas of concern were identified by Clinton County residents and organizations: drug & substance abuse; access to mental health services; obesity & diabetes; and smoking.

YOUR SUPPORT PROVIDES QUALITY PROGRAMMING
Your financial support provides Clinton County young people with a facility after-school and programs designed specifically to address community needs experienced by children every day. Programs are based on physical, emotional, cultural and social needs, and interests of girls and boys, and recognized developmental principles. Programs are age appropriate, gender inclusive, gender specific, and developmentally sound.

95% of our members who participated in our homework help program reported that they were more confident in school. With regard to good character, 96% of surveyed Club members said they feel like they can stand up for what they think is right, even when their friends disagree.
100% of survey participants also reported that they try to help when they see others in need.
66% of survey participants reported eating three or more fruits/vegetables per day.
60% reported three or more days of physical activity totaling at least 60-minutes each day.
