All public gatherings have been banned as cases of the virus have hit all 20 regions of the nation. People have been discouraged from engaging in all types of public gatherings.

columbia Barnard College and Columbia University have quarantined an affiliate after the individual became exposed to COVID-19, the Columbia Daily Spectator reported Sunday. Columbia has decided to cancel classes until Wednesday, when remote instruction will continue until spring break. However, the University declined to comment on when students will learn whether classes will be cancelled or move online after spring break. Dining halls and facilities will remain open indefinitely.

UPENN The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced Monday a patient at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania has tested positive for coronavirus, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian. The patient works as a pediatric cardiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and marks the seventh known case of coronavirus in Pennsylvania. The health department reports the patient was exposed to the virus internationally and is in critical condition.

ri c to According to the Daily Princetonian, Princeton University President Christopher L. Eisgruber announced Monday the university will begin online instruction on March 23 and limit the size of campus gatherings due to concerns about the novel coronavirus. The school stated these policies would stay in place until April 5 and encouraged students to stay home during this period. An email sent to accepted students of the Class of 2024 also canceled Princeton Preview, the admitted students program on campus.
