WELCOME... Well, it’s been an interesting 18 months for everybody and we’ve been working towards coming back stronger than ever. It would be fair to say that there isn’t anybody who hasn’t been affected in some way by this awful pandemic and our thoughts go out to anybody who has suffered personally or lost loved ones before we start considering how it’s affected millions of businesses. But as we hope we’re coming through the worst of it, so many different industries have suffered huge losses, but by supporting each other, we give ourselves the best chance to rebuild. The arts and entertainment industry is no different and I’ve personally seen venues and artists working together so that we can all get going again. Artists need venues and venues need artists. But above all, we all need audiences to come back and support what we’re trying to do. Without you, there are no shows. I’d like to personally thank our loyal audiences who’ve stuck with us while we continuously move shows around, with the majority happy to hold on to their tickets rather than receive a refund. Your support means everything to us. I also want to send massive thanks out to our team at The Harlington and Fleet Town Council for all getting stuck into whatever was required of them during very testing times. But we have taken the opportunity to carry out some essential works and make some improvements to allow for a more digital future which has come into play quicker than anybody could have imagined. We now have two large screens in the auditorium, which will give audiences a better overall experience and we’re also now able to live stream selected shows via a seven camera system, record live band videos and take our conferencing services to the next level. The majority of local people will be aware that the venue has been used as a vaccination centre throughout most of 2021 and thanks to

the NHS doctors, organisers and vaccinators, supported by an army of local volunteers, who between them have ensured that tens of thousands of people in the area have received their vaccinations quickly and efficiently. We’ve managed to open during a couple of periods when lockdowns were lifted for socially distanced performances and the support and feedback from our audiences has been incredible. The consensus was that people felt safe and this was exactly what we set out to achieve whilst giving people the opportunity to get out of the house and see the outside world. We’re now so excited to be able to offer a full programme of shows from September and hope that you will feel safe to come out once again and support your local venue. If you are still a little bit wary, watch out for social media updates or keep an eye on our website to find out which shows will be live streamed, so you can join in the fun from your own living room! Things will be a lot more like normal, however please rest assured that we will still focus on giving you the very best experience whilst making sure that events are run in a safe and sensible manner. Have a thumb through the brochure as I believe we’ve got something for everybody. ASH WILSON BAND SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH BAR: 1:15pm | DOORS: 1:15pm | SHOW: 2:00pm Drawn to the Blues music his parents introduced him to, such as Muddy Waters, Son House, Eric Clapton and Albert King, it became obvious his ambition as a 14 year old was to become a great Artist like his heroes. Ash has served his time, performing live since he was sixteen years old with his three bands; The Melt, Djune and The Vampires, who have opened for established names such as, Walter Trout, Mountain, Doctor Feelgood, The Animals, Ocean Colour Scene and The Kooks. Ash joined The Sean Webster band in 2014, transforming the live set and in 2016 was asked to join, Jesse Davey’s Big Blues Band, co-writing and singing the song “The Revalator”” from the award winning “Big Blues Album”. During this time Ash was developing his writing talents and in 2017 released his debut album, “Broken Machine”, which established him as a singer/songwriter of note.

BAR: 7:00PM | DOORS: 7:30PM | SHOW: 8:00PM One of the UK’s finest high energy Rhythm & Blues Bands, Nine Below Zero, formed in 1979 and signed to A&M Records in 1980, releasing the seminal ‘Live at the Marquee’ album. They soon moved from selling out the Marquee to selling out the Hammersmith Odeon. In 1981 their first studio album ‘Don’t Point Your Finger’ led to various appearances on the Old Grey Whistle Test and the South Bank show. 1982 saw the band perform on ‘The Young Ones’ and also the release of arguably their finest album ‘Third Degree’. The album’s iconic image was taken by none other than David Bailey. Nine Below Zero have shared stages over the years with Chuck Berry, The Kinks, The Who, Eric Clapton, The Stranglers & Squeeze.

NEW AMEN CORNER FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH BAR: 7:30pm | DOORS: 8:00pm | SHOW: 8:30pm The New Amen Corner have emerged in the last few years as arguably the hottest band on the 60s circuit, playing a whole variety of songs from the era. The band has an unrivalled ability to so perfectly recreate the sound and atmosphere of that momentous period 50 years ago when music sent good vibrations across the world. The original Amen Corner was one of the biggest influences on the sixties pop scene to ever come out of Wales. Creating their own unique mixture of mod, psychedelic power pop, heavy horns, swirling Hammond organ and distinctive voice of Andy Fairweather-Low, their powerhouse live shows made them one of the most exciting bands around. With million seller hits like “Gin House”, “Bend Me Shape Me”, “If Paradise was half as Nice”, “High in the Sky” & “Hello Suzie”, they soon became a household name!
The Blues Band was formed in 1979 by Ex Manfred Mann members Paul Jones and Tom McGuinness. Slide guitar ace and vocalist Dave Kelly was then recruited, Gary Fletcher filled the bass post and Rob Townsend of Family fame replaced Hughie Flint in 1982 on the drums. Many of the Blues Band’s 21st century fans weren’t even born when these five virtuosos, already music industry veterans, decided to fly in the face of musical fashion in 1979 and form a band ‘just to play the blues’. No one could have predicted that, 40 years on, they’d still be dazzling audiences with their showmanship and virtuosity. About 20 albums and thousands of gigs later, they’ve earned a reputation around the world as one of the finest exponents of the blues tradition in all its forms. With this line-up, it’s hardly surprising. This farewell tour gives fans the chance to say a last emotional bye bye to The Blues Band as they close the book on one of the most popular British blues stories of all time.
The musicians of the New Amen Corner have a musical pedigree second to none, and have worked with the likes of Screaming Lord Sutch, The Symbols, Jeff Beck, Alexis Korner, Roy Wood, Robert Plant, Alvin Stardust, Ruby Turner, Mike Oldfield and Jaki Graham to name but a few!

It’s hard to believe that 40 years have now passed since Marc’s tragic fatal car accident and fans have mourned the loss of a truly individual, inspirational talent ever since. Bolan’s special ingredient of Rock-a-Boogie songs including ‘20th Century Boy’, ‘Get in On’ and ‘I Love to Boogie’ have ensured that Marc Bolan and T.Rex have become one of the most memorable and enduring bands of the seventies. T.Rextasy have now been performing around the world for over 20 years, a career that ironically outlives Marc’s very own T.Rex. They have become widely accepted as the world’s only official tribute show dedicated to Marc Bolan & T.Rex, and the only band endorsed and approved by Marc’s family, estate and catalogue management, not to mention original members of T.Rex. STANDING/DANCING
The Box Office is open Monday-Friday between 10am-5pm and on Saturday 10am-3pm (open later on performance days), which will be reviewed in January 2022. Tickets can be purchased at any time via the website (fees apply).
It is the nature of some events that audience members will stand /dance. Refunds will not be made on these occasions but we may be able to re-seat you if you speak to a member of staff.
BARS/CAFÉ
FEES
The Function bar is open before the show and during the interval and the café during matinee performances. There is an additional bar inside the auditorium which is open throughout and after most cabaret shows.
A 25p per ticket fee is charged to all telephone and counter sales to cover administrative, Box Office and banking costs. Online fees are charged at £1.00 per ticket. There is an optional £1.00 postage fee per transaction.

REFUNDS
Our performance spaces, bars and toilets are all accessible. To ensure a comfortable visit, please inform our staff at time of booking if you require any further assistance.
Once purchased, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges on tickets unless an event is cancelled.

We can reserve tickets for up to 3 days. Restrictions do apply closer to the date of a performance, when an event is near to sell-out, or at a producer/promoter’s request.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
JOB/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Under 18s are welcome to attend the majority of our shows when accompanied by an adult. This is left to the discretion of the parent/guardian. Some performances do carry a suggested age limit as we feel they are not suitable for a younger audience. If in doubt, please check with the Box Office.
We’re always looking for good team members for a variety of roles within the venue. If you’d be interested in joining us as a member of show staff, or would like to see shows for few and support your community venue as a passionate volunteer we would love to hear from you!.
HOW TO FIND US... The Harlington is off of Fleet High Street, surrounded by both Victoria and Gurkha Square car park. There are bus services running along Fleet Road and the train services from Waterloo and the South Coast to Fleet are frequent.
