We’ve continued to build on our successes whilst broadening our offering at the same time, with great entertainment flooding into Fleet.

Progress continues to be made, in particular, on the National and International original band touring scene, where The Harlington has appeared on the radar of several important tour bookers, allowing us to attract more upcoming and established original bands. We’ve also been approached to host a couple of album launches, and are obviously happy and honoured to oblige. Word is definitely spreading throughout the industry, so we really appreciate the support our loyal music fans give us. These may well be bands you’ve already heard of, or those you will be hearing a lot about in years to come, so please help to support the next group of stars by supporting smaller venues and allowing live music to thrive.

You’ll be blown away by the abundance of talent that’s out there. All we ask is that you give something new a go - you won’t regret it, guaranteed!

As always, we’re still doing things our own way, focusing on giving our audiences a unique experience, something more casual than a conventional theatre, but with the emphasis on presenting high quality shows that, above all, entertain people within an environment befitting the type of event. In fact we’ve had various shows come to us as part of their National Theatre Tours, with the main difference being that you can enjoy them in either a cabaret setting, with a drink, sat around a table with friends, or in the thick of it as a full blown concert. It’s all about having fun and leaving with a big fat smile on your face, and that’s what we aim to give you!

Coming up we’ve got all of our returning favourites plus first time visits for Danny Bryant with an album launch show, The Brand New Heavies, The Blues Band, direct from the USA - Billy Walton, and something a little bit different from The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Rebecca Downes and Stevie Nimmo are both making their second trips to Fleet after successful first outings, as are Los Pacaminos featuring Paul Young and comedian Lee Nelson, who returns as part of his extended tour. Plus look out for our big January party with crowd favourites Northsyde who blew people away recently as part of the double header show with Catfish. We had to bring them back for their own show with some top guests and a mega jam session at the end (the last one went on for an hour). Take my advice and don’t miss this for the world!

I’d need a lot more space to tell you about everything, but we really do have a lot of variety. Whether you like tribute shows, original music, comedy or theatre, there should be something for everybody, and all served up the Harlington way!

SEATING PLANS

HOW TO FIND US...

At The Harlington, we try to adapt our seating plans to suit different types of show.

The Harlington is situated in the centre of town on Fleet Road and is surrounded by car parks (pay & display). These can be accessed from Fleet Road at the front of the building, Victoria Road to the side or Harlington Way at the rear. The Gurkha Square car park at the front of the building is limited to 2 hours during the day, and in the evening tends to be more expensive to use than the other car parks which offer a flat fee of ÂŁ1 for the evening after 6pm. If parking for longer than 2 hours during the day, Victoria Road is the most ideal car park.

They generally fall into the catagories of theatre, cabaret, or standing but each can differ slightly.

The seating layout for our annual pantomime is different, as it involves building tiered seating specifically for the production, and cabaret layouts can vary from fully seated to a mix of seated and standing or all standing, with different sizes of dance floor. These are created to give the customer the best possible experience every time. Seating options are shown in the information boxes at the bottom of each page in this guide.

The seating plan for performances can be seen online when booking tickets or can be discussed with a member of box office staff, and most allow you to choose where you sit with the exception of unreserved performances. The two most common seating plans are shown below.

Train services into Fleet are frequent with the station being on the main Southampton to Waterloo line with access from towns such as Basingstoke and Farnborough being very quick and easy. From the station head straight up Fleet Road towards the town centre. The Harlington can be found on the right hand side of the road (20 minutes approximately by foot or 3-5 minutes by taxi). Bus services also run along Fleet Road and the surrounding area.

LATECOMERS

The box office is open Monday - Friday between 10am - 5pm and on Saturday between 10am - 3pm (open later on performance days). Tickets can be purchased at any time via the website (fees apply).

Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.

FEES

The Function bar is open before the show and during the interval and the café during matinee performances. There is an additional bar inside the auditorium which is open throughout and after most cabaret shows.

A 25p per ticket booking fee is charged to all telephone and counter sales to cover administrative, box office and banking costs. Online booking fees are charged at £1.00 per ticket. There is an optional £1.00 postage fee per transaction.

TICKET COLLECTION

We’re happy to hold tickets tickets at the box office for collection or will post them out at your request (£1.00 postage fee). Tickets purchased online may be printed at home.

REFUNDS

Once purchased, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges on tickets unless an event is cancelled.

RESERVATIONS

We can reserve tickets for up to 3 days. Restrictions do apply closer to the date of a performance, when an event is near to sell-out, or at a producer/promoter’s request.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Under 18s are welcome to attend the majority of our shows when accompanied by an adult. This is left to the discretion of the parent/guardian. Some performances do carry a suggested age limit as we feel they are not suitable for a younger audience. If in doubt, please check with the Box Office.

MEAL TICKETS

When a meal ticket is purchased with an event, please note the arrival time, which will normally be earlier than the standard “doors open” time. This is to allow you enough time to enjoy your food before the performance starts.

STANDING/DANCING

It is the nature of some events that audience members will stand/dance. Refunds will not be made on these occasions but we may be able to re-seat you if you speak to a member of staff.

BARS/CAFÉ

ACCESS

Our performance spaces, bars and toilets are all accessible. To ensure a comfortable visit, please inform our staff at time of booking if you require any further assistance.

CLOAKROOM FACILITY

Use our cloakroom facility to store your items safely throughout the evening (small charge applies). This service is available on most of our live music performances where standing tickets are sold. When applicable this will be indicated in the information box for the show. (Valuables should be removed as we cannot accept liability for items left in bags or pockets).
