WELCOME TO THE HARLINGTON... Having started to expand our repertoire to include more original music over the past year, I’m delighted to have received such positive feedback. This has come from people who’ve said they hadn’t previously found anything that interested them, but now we’re firmly on their radar, and from existing visitors too, who have enjoyed more variety and the fact that they can try new things without breaking the bank. I would urge everybody to try something new from time to time, especially with the range of live music we now offer. This now includes more original bands who write and record their own music, and tour to many countries throughout Europe and the World. You get the chance to see them in a more intimate environment, without doubt the best way to enjoy live music.
We’re fast establishing ourselves as one of the best venues to watch live music up close and personal. Our new Season features a variety of established and emerging bands and artists.
We haven’t forgotten our existing audiences either, with our monthly comedy club continuing to sell out on a regular basis and a whole host of the very best tribute shows available, some returning favourites and others completely brand new to us. February marks the final official show for one of our favourite performers; The Great Pretender is (in his own words) hanging up his teeth. Having been regarded as the UK’s No.1 Freddie Mercury artist for many years, he will be difficult to replace. The HRH Band will without a doubt find the very best Freddie out there as they’re an outstanding band, but we will all miss “our” Freddie and wish him a relaxing retirement. If you haven’t seen them before or indeed have and would like one more chance, don’t miss this show. We aim to make it a very special one. They usually sell out, so get your tickets while you can! I’m very excited to bring lots of new shows and gigs to The Harlington for the first time. We would never have attracted many of them in the past, but the reputation of our venue is getting stronger all the time and people are starting to sit up and take notice of us. This can only be a good thing for Fleet. Coming up we’ve got comedy from Lee Nelson with his hugely popular Serious Joker Tour, plus The Cuban Brothers who mix comedy with funky music and incredible dance routines. These guys do lots of festivals, but you can’t see them in many smaller venues, so one not to be missed. Musically we’ve got some of the best bands on the circuit. If you like a bit of rock, blues or soul, there’s a host of the latest bands appearing plus some blasts from the past who just never stop touring, I’m talking about Rhythm & Blues veterans Dr Feelgood and the king of Soul himself Geno Washington with The Ram Jam Band. I’m also honoured to welcome The South to The Harlington for the first time. The 9 piece band was formed by members of The Beautiful South when they broke up in 2007 and is a celebration of those wonderful songs we all know so well.

SEATING PLANS
HOW TO FIND US...
At The Harlington, we try to adapt our seating plans to suit different types of show.
The Harlington is situated in the centre of town on Fleet Road and is surrounded by car parks (pay & display). These can be accessed from Fleet Road at the front of the building, Victoria Road to the side or Harlington Way at the rear. The Gurkha Square car park at the front of the building is limited to 2 hours during the day, and in the evening tends to be more expensive to use than the other car parks which offer a flat fee of ÂŁ1 for the evening after 6pm. If parking for longer than 2 hours during the day, Victoria Road is the most ideal car park.
They generally fall into the categories of theatre or cabaret, but can differ slightly. The seating layout for our annual pantomime is different, as it involves building tiered seating specifically for the production, and cabaret layouts can vary from fully seated to a mix of seated and standing or all standing, with different sizes of dance floor. These are created to give the customer the best possible experience every time. Seating options are shown in the information boxes at the bottom of each page in this guide. The seating plan for performances can be seen online when booking tickets or can be discussed with a member of box office staff, and most allow you to choose where you sit with the exception of unreserved performances. The two most common seating plans are shown below.
Train services into Fleet are frequent with the station being on the main Southampton to Waterloo line with access from towns such as Basingstoke and Farnborough being very quick and easy. From the station head straight up Fleet Road towards the town centre. The Harlington can be found on the right hand side of the road (20 minutes approximately by foot or 3-5 minutes by taxi). Bus services also run along Fleet Road and the surrounding area.

BOX OFFICE OPENING TIMES
LATECOMERS
The box office is open Monday - Friday between 10am - 5pm and on Saturday between 10am - 3pm (open later on performance days). Tickets can be purchased at any time via the website (fees apply).
Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.
FEES
The Function bar is open before the show and during the interval and the café during matinee performances. There is an additional bar inside the auditorium which is open throughout and after most cabaret shows.
We do not charge any booking fees for telephone or counter sales when paid by debit card or cash. A small fee is chargeable for credit card payments dependant on the value of the sale. Online booking fees are charged at 90p per ticket. There is an optional £1.00 postage fee per transaction.
TICKET COLLECTION
We’re happy to hold tickets at the box office for collection or will post them out at your request (£1.00 postage fee).
REFUNDS
Once purchased, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges on tickets unless an event is cancelled.
RESERVATIONS
We can reserve tickets for up to 3 days. Restrictions do apply closer to the date of a performance, when an event is near to sell-out, or at a producer/promoter’s request.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Under 18s are welcome to attend the majority of our shows when accompanied by an adult. This is left to the discretion of the parent/guardian. Some performances do carry a suggested age limit as we feel they are not suitable for a younger audience. If in doubt, please check with the Box Office.
MEAL TICKETS
When a meal ticket is purchased with an event, please note the arrival time, which will normally be earlier than the standard “doors open” time. This is to allow you enough time to enjoy your food before the performance starts.
STANDING/DANCING
It is the nature of some events that audience members will stand/dance. Refunds will not be made on these occasions but we may be able to re-seat you if you speak to a member of staff.
BARS/CAFÉ
ACCESS
Our performance spaces, bars and toilets are all accessible. To ensure a comfortable visit, please inform our staff at time of booking if you require any further assistance.
CLOAKROOM FACILITY
Use our cloakroom facility to store your items safely throughout the evening (small charge applies). This service is available on most of our live music performances where standing tickets are sold. When applicable this will be indicated in the information box for the show. (Valuables should be removed as we cannot accept liability for items left in bags or pockets).
