Harker Volunteer Appreciation As my first school year at Harker draws to a close I am continually amazed by the commitment, dedication and enthusiasm of all The Harker School volunteers. I hope each and every one of you will take the time to browse through this list of remarkable volunteers. This group, which includes over 850 volunteers, has supported the school all year long in approximately 24 volunteer categories, beginning with kindergarten and classroom support, and ending with the Harker Alumni Program. The dedication of these volunteers enriches our school in so many ways, including support for classroom parties, library, athletics, debate, performing arts, parent development council, fashion show and picnic. Their continued commitment to supporting the Harker community is unparalleled. For example, this year, a group of volunteers saw a need and developed the Harker Hearts volunteer support group that steps in to lend a helping hand to Harker families facing a personal crisis.
