The Nordic Swan Ecolabel The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is the official Nordic eco-label established by the Nordic Council of Ministers. It certifies products and services, including hotels and meeting venues, that meet high environmental and sustainability standards. These standards include reducing energy and water consumption, managing waste efficiently, and using environmentally friendly materials and chemicals. The Swan label aims to promote sustainable production and consumption, helping businesses reduce their environmental impact. Choosing a Swan-certified venue ensures a commitment to eco-friendly practices throughout your event.

B Corp

Ø-label

B Corp is a certification for companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corp-certified businesses are assessed on their impact on their workers, customers, communities, and the environment. The goal is to balance profit and purpose, using business as a force for good. Companies with B Corp certification commit to considering the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders, making it a mark of sustainability and ethical business practices.

The Danish Organic “Ø” label is a national certification used to mark food products and ingredients that meet Denmark’s strict organic standards. Certified by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, it ensures that products are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and that animals are raised under organic farming practices with high welfare standards. In terms of meeting venues, choosing catering with the bronze, silver or gold “Ø” label ensures that food served is organic, aligning with Denmark’s sustainability goals and offering high-quality, eco-friendly meal options for events.
