A Remarkable

Dear Families & Friends,

100 Years

This year, Green Vale celebrated a remarkable 100 years and the continuity of traditions, values, and people.

Everyone reading this has played a role in the success of Green Vale. Maybe you served as a PA volunteer, class agent, Trustee, or as a loyal annual fund or visionary campaign donor. For alumni of all ages: you created the fabric of Green Vale by embracing our traditions and embodying Green Vale’s values in the world.

In short, Green Vale’s upward trajectory over the years has been enabled by an extraordinary spirit of family partnership, philanthropy, and volunteerism. To share just a few recent examples: • 130 families from our past and present supported the centennial celebrations by serving as sponsors or committee members (600 attended!)

• Team GOLD triumphed in both participation and dollars raised for this year’s Annual Fund • The Annual Auction experienced record attendance and sponsorship • Participation in the second Blue-Gold Giving Day tripled from its inception in 2020 • Alumni volunteerism flourished as seen on page 22-24 Thank you to all who generously support Green Vale with time, talent, and treasure. I am especially humbled by the many generations of this community that have helped shape the school we all love and celebrate today.

Let’s cherish the spirit and rekindled sense of connection that the centennial year engendered. Stay in touch with one another. Knock on the doors that Green Vale opened in your lives.
