• Most penguins love the cold, and their bodies have evolved over time to survive in a freezing climate.
• However, if a penguin is weak, injured, fatigued or hungry, it can struggle in really cold temperatures.
• Many penguins spend the winter fishing at sea without coming back to land at all; it is often warmer in the sea.

• The Anthropornis penguin lived 40 million years ago; it weighs about 200 pounds.

I was inspired to write this book because I was interested in the topic and wanted to learn more. One fun fact about me is that I rode a horse once.
