This promenade performance is unlike anything The Grange buildings have ever witnessed before and you will be entranced at every turn as you are guided around the site. Precipice has been specially created for us by Sinéad O’Neill and is a tale of our times, full of hope and redemption. The new and familiar are woven together to surprise you. You will hear Sir John Tomlinson, a real national treasure, sing a loved Hans Sachs monologue from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and be the first to see a new commission by brilliant young dancer and choreographer Mthuthuzeli November of Ballet Black.
There is so much more – more singing, more music, more dancing, more poetry. Add some acrobats and nothing will be quite what you expect.
