PUBLISHER’S Prayer

My Father, My Lord:

As I still my mind with a sense of peace my heart is yet unsteady. Father, I know that regardless of my momentary lapses, You are in charge. Nothing will happen on November 5th that will be a surprise to You. Keep me mindful Dear Lord of who You are. There is no power or force greater than Thou!!! There are distractions and there are doubters. There are lost souls and there are believers. There are parents who worry about the future and those who are full of excitement about the possibilities. In You and with You all is well, all the time. Each day is a blessing regardless of what is on the news. Each day is an opportunity to walk in our faith. You have placed us in a land of laws. Those laws have not always been kind to us but we trust, believe and know who we are and whose we are.

COUNTY AND THE CORNERSTONE GROUP CELEBRATE THE GROUND BREAKING OF ROYAL POINTE APARTMENT HOMES

There was great excitement in Richmond Heights as Martin Memorial AME / The Purple Church joined The Cornerstone Group and community and governmental leaders for the ground breaking of its affordable and workforce housing development Royal Pointe Apartment Homes, a new 102 unit garden style workforce and affordable community will be constructed at 11350 Dunbar Drive, in the heart of Richmond Heights.

Through the vision, commitment and tenacity of Rev Anthony Reed and with the initial leadership and support of Commissioner Dennis Moss and continued strong support of

Commissioner Kionne McGhee and Mayor Cava, this long planned development has come to fruition This development is yet another example of a church leveraging property ownership to create much needed housing that residents can actually afford.

“This affordable housing development is a much-needed asset to Miami-Dade County The families that will qualify to live at Royal Pointe are the hardest hit economically. Undoubtedly, many of these families will have already been priced out of other rental communities,” said Lenny Wolfe, a principal of The Cornerstone Group, one of Florida’s leaders in affordable and workforce housing development

Royal Pointe Apartment Homes will have 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms and also features on-site management, playground, indoor fitness center, charging stations for EV vehicles, and other amenities for residents to enjoy.

Cornerstone’s outstanding record of achievement has gained the company a wellearned reputation of “Building Excellence” within the multifamily housing world. As The Purple Church is a haven of hope and progress, Royal Pointe Apartment Homes is destined to be a true blessing to those who will live there.
