EVENTS ON CAMPUS FRI 27 & SAT 28 OCTOBER Welcome to the October Open House Programme for 2023. We look forward to welcoming you to the GSA Campus for Open House on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October 2023. By attending Open House you will get the opportunity to meet staff and students at the school, hear from current students, ask questions, and get to know a bit more about life at The Glasgow School of Art. The Open House programme has been designed to allow for plenty of discussion and to give you the space to find out more about the programmes and disciplines you are interested in studying, what studying in a creative environment like the GSA might offer you and what it’s like to live in a creative and vibrant city like Glasgow. No matter what questions you have, our staff and student ambassador team will be on hand to help you find out more about life and study at the GSA. Unless otherwise stated, there is no need to have booked specific events in order to attend them, and the events run at the same time on both days. Whilst you’re in Glasgow, we also encourage you to explore the city which is packed full of great places to visit and get to know including some incredible galleries, museums and creative spaces. We’ve put together a handy City Guide which might help you when planning your visit if you are unfamiliar with Glasgow. The guide provides an overview of key districts in Glasgow, as well as a selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops popular with the GSA and its Creative Network. Accessibility The majority of activity takes place at our campus in Garnethill. Garnethill is in the centre of the city, and is very well integrated into bus, rail and subway networks. Garnethill itself is a hilly area of the city and access around the campus can be difficult, particularly if you have a mobility impairment.
