ABOUT THIS BOOK
Co-designed and co-created by nineteen GIANT kids, AI, and a multidisciplinary team of artists, educators, and writers at The GIANT Room, this book invites our little creatives and their families to help animals by counting, singing, dancing, clapping, shaking, and turning upside down.
We partnered with Skip Hop, a global lifestyle brand for parents, babies, and toddlers, to create a nature-themed sensory exploration workshop for two- and three-year-olds and their families. During the event, participants used the Skip Hop Discoverosity 3-in-1 Sensory Table to mix, pour, scrape, sculpt, print, and experiment with all sorts of materials. They created fresh salmon with fake snow and markers, threw parties with pom poms and clay, and built animal habitats with sand and pipe cleaners. The characters in this book are based on participants’ favorite animals, transformed into avatars using AI tools.
One child crafted a magical bobble-headed snowman, who we’ve named Freezy-Ka-Breezy and has become this book’s tour guide. He takes the reader on a journey through different animal habitats, imagined using the Discoverosity Sensory Table and all of its playful parts.
